  • Noa Nadruku is a legend. he went over to the Canberra Raiders in 1993 and played outside Mal Meninga and Rueben Wiki. Still holds the record for most tries in a NRL season for the raiders. Best league winger in the world 1993-94. Fiji legend

  • wow, hong kong stadium is almost unrecognizable!

  • ahaha his way of running is funny

  • Its amazing Serevi was in the same team as Tomasi Cama and played against Tomasi Cama's son nearly 20 years later

  • textbook rugby

  • 1 hand fling ---> overhead flick on ---> through the legs ---> paaaaaace!!

  • sweet!

  • Is there any reason wh Tomasi Cama junior is playing for NZ ? some type of "internal

grudge" against Fiji? perhaps Fiji rugby union didnt look after sevens rugby wells well in terms of compensations?Something like that? Also,-why does Fiji really sucks at 15's? its like forever? They do not stand a chance in game of 15 a side.Well, maybe it should be just 11 a side-new format, just like

soccer-right? then you'll begin to see Islanders Fly ! Just a sports fan :) Bula Bula Whaali Whaali :)

  • is the tomasi cama who scored the try the same as the tomasi cama that is playing rugby 7's for new zealand at the moment?

  • @samphillips1 no the 1990's cama is the father of the present cama

    ironic huh haha

  • i love the fact that bill mclaren gets the names right and their sounds! havent heard alot of white commentators do that.

  • Fiji are not a dominant side in world rugby, but so many of the magic moments and magical talent in rugby seems to be owned by them. At least to me anyway

  • fiji is da best ;)

  • FIJI ALL DAY!!!!!

  • I think the try to Maserewa for NZ after a breakout from the dead ball line by Cullen with Fijians all around him is the greatest sevens try ever. He never should've got away from them, but he did.

  • long live the legend Bill Mclaren of Scotland

  • KAICOLO MAN

  • Without a doubt the best 7s try ever.

    2 dislikes = kiwis

  • @petero660 2 dis likes could have been from anyone. I'm a kiwi and i like this try as it showed that flick passes and between the legs passes were done back in the 90's yet some people think it was created in the 2000s etc. Tomasi Cama snr was a great player in his time. Tomasi jnr is playing some good sevens at the moment.

  • great speed

  • Comment removed

  • sotavi ktou!! too bad Tomasi Cama Jnr plays for New Zealand then he got hung by Serevi in the Hong Kong 2007 7s after a l8 tackle...

  • Best try ever!!!! I haven't seen anything like this before...

  • Surely this is the best Sevens try ever!!!!

  • This historical move and win against the all blacks was the turning point in Fiji 7s rugby that inspired all up coming rugby players.... Sensational!

  • omg i love the down under pass throught the legs, AMAZING :D

  • I plan on being a Rugby player one day...Im Fijian so I really look up to these Rugby greats like Tomasi,Serevi, and Ryder! Luke Vaka

  • shit no.8 looked like he was galloping

  • heh John Gallaher is *fucking* quick, or was, he was a speed deamon who scored a hat trick on the opening day of the first world cup against Italy, I might be wrong, but what a superb move. Fiji are 7s Gods. the Kiwis can only compete by stealing Fijians and claiming them for themselves. Polynesians/// QUIT NZ if you have any balls.

  • Bill McCLaren, sadly missed by the rugby world, a fan of real rugby and the voice of the world's game

  • OUT OF ALL FIJI 7s TRIES, DIS IS THE HALL OF FAME...ONE DAT EVERY LIVING FIJI ISLANDER DAT WERE ALIVE CEN LIVED TO WITNESS DIS TRY....KINGS OF SEVENS FIJI.....AS THEY SAY MIRACLES DO HAPPEN TO PIPLE WHO B-LIV IN THEM....GO FIJI GO...

  • This was on a Sunday in 1990, shortly before TV arrived in the Fiji Islands. Then, families tuned in to Radio Fiji to catch the commentary with Graham Eden.

The next day, a Monday, the Fiji Times carried the sports headline 'It's Our Day' with a picture of Alifereti Dere hoisting the Perpetual Cup, which was to be gallantly defended for the next two years.

  • When the video did arrive in video rental shops, families scrambled for copies. As Fiji Islanders reveled in the victory, they also fell in love with the voice of rugby: Bill McLaren, now retired from the BBC.

To this day, most Fiji Islanders identify the voice with that memorable victory at So Kon Po on an unforgettable Sunday evening in 1990.

    O, the memories!

  • @Taiririko...levuga ni jamu!!!

  • @tapout582...E vakaevei, e dua na leqa? E sega beka na ka yaga me kainaki?

  • i got * The Funniest try ever!! made by Roko... its in Fiji vs Portugal 2009 world games... check out pls xD

  • god bless fiji apart from FRANK BAINIMARAMA & HIS CO- WORKERS................LOL!

  • Nice try

  • Tomasi Cama plays for NZ now thts funny

  • shit for Fiji.....

  • hehe nono :P his son does ^^ the Jr. ^^

  • well his Son is playing for new zealand now

  • This is his Dad in the video.

  • that is tomasi cama son.. tomasi cama jr..

  • his son plays for fiji

  • simply amazing.... that doesn't come from a coaching manual

  • I met Tomasi Cama's son..the one who plays for NZ..i think his father is more humble then he is..

  • well they have ninjas wat do u expct???

  • christian cullen scored a 105 meter try

  • So did Daisuke Ohata of Japan...lol

  • @HeavyMetalFiend666 ia fag and Chris cullen is a cum dumpster

  • Comment removed

  • @HeavyMetalFiend666 he didn't score it, he set it up in 1996

  • my apologies... the NZ Sevens team my not be the 'All Blacks' but the NZ team at that time before there was any Super rugby had Zinzan Brooke, John Gallagher, Terry Wright, John Shuster, Graham Bachop etc. who were at that time stars with All Blacks...

  • these guys laid the foundation of modern sevens rugby... ratu Kiti's formula is now being used around the world... the grid system and sweeper roels were his inventions.. even Rush admits these guys were the best..

  • He scored the 105m try in a 7s game you dumb fuck

  • Check your facts before you display your ignorance on here!!! Its one thing to be biased, another to be totally clueless. He broke from the in-goal and drew Serevi before passing to Masirewa (a fijian none the less).

    Humble pie anyone??

  • What the fuck does anything you just said have to do with what we were talking about 3 weeks ago? It's' one thing to be belated but another to be totally retarded.

    Medication dipshit??

  • So who do you claim to have scored this mysterious 105m try?? Or is 3 weeks too long for you to remember?

Maybe you need to cut back on that medication...

  • Well I find it ironic that you have the audacity to call someone a 'dumb fuck' right after making a claim you can't prove.

And if you still can't make out what I was talking above, it was the so called 105m try you were going on about... he only really ran 40m before passing it off to his support.

  • Hmmmm... well your failure to outright mention who scored a 105m try only proves my point.

    Thanks and goodnight.

  • @sunkah no culture o koko!!

  • @gmactera stupid retard.... the nz sevens is the all blacks.... get ur stupid head to the all blacks official website... and take a look 4 urself idiot... stop talking bullshit.... the bottom line is... NEW ZEALAND RUGBY TEAM IS THE ALL BLACKS... no matter if its 15's, 10's, 7's or even the black fern (womens)..... stupidity needs knowledge

  • @ramzoolander no its not u fuckn retard. all blacks is the 15 man team. get ur facts right hhaha!

  • Comment removed

  • @gmactera are you fucking retarded?

  • @gmactera whata serious guy

  • Fiji 2009 hong kong 7s champ

  • THAT WAZ FEEJEEZ BEST IN THE 90s

  • that was BEAST!!!Respect to Fiji.

  • this was a amazing try that the fijians made, good on u. fiji is doing a really good job with rugby. and i am i fiji rugby supporter.

  • looks like your mom galooping

  • look at him run it looks like a horse galloping

  • cullen is on of the best, but the best memory i have of him was wen he came on for the 1st wellington 7's,1 touch of the ball, then WHAM!!vili satala broke of few of his ribs.priceless the expression on his face when he was gasping for air on the sidelines not knowing wat had just happened.

  • calm down mate is that all fiji is good at 7ns ye u talk like it was like back in the days whata bout now fiji r shit n not even close competitors for the sevens shield find another sport now every country is better than fiji even kenya lmaooooo

  • haha nah mate,

I Support Kenya all the way because of their sevens achievements, they really really good, but a known fact is that Kenya have beaten everyone except for NZ and Fiji.

Yeah maybe your right that Fiji dont hav as much skill as what we call "back in the day" but at least respect that they are still entertaining crowds in sevens these days.

Plus theyre skilled in way more sports than just the sevens.

  • but now kenya has beaten NZ...in one of the pool matches.. :) all the best to our team in dubai for the world cup!

  • @00Alekii00 You're absolutely right...

  • Awesome vid, but NZ are the World Champs and Gold Medalists!

  • gold meadalists but not world champs fiji are world champs we are world series champs tho

  • I've seen better...

  • whre?.. a try with more flair than that?. considering the date as well?.. wow.. please a link would be awesome! :D

  • this my coach...he teach me to play rugby

  • say fiji if u think fiji R THE BEST IN 7'S

    FIJI

  • look at those legs

  • yeah the cullen thing was great.. but it was an individual effort.. THESE guys produced this magic moment(thats said to be the best ever) when they moved as a team. Check out their 1991 semi final clash against england when they passed hand to hand 15 times all the way to the goal posts!!As individual play check out 1991 quarters when they unleahed Noa Nadruku to side step from his own goal line to set up cama at halfway.. you name the moves.. they got the moves.. the greatest 7s team by far..

  • na the best 7s try was by cullen form inside his own goal!! all by himself 2!!!

  • Cullen didn't score.. masirewa did. he got away because fiji thot he was going to touch the ball down for a 25.. if you look closely he also hid behind two NZ jersys- that's shepherding but the ref did nothing about it. it was a marred final ... especially with the controversial 'penalty try' awarded to NZ for Serevi tripping up cullen.. cullen wouldn't have scored anyway- tuilevu had already immobilised him. nah.. the best tries where always Fijian tries..clean, innovative and fun to watch..

  • nz dont play with passion fiji plays it with passion which makes them better team

  • Oh man awesome passing, just awesome!!! Loved it, Five Stars!

  • How is NZ is the best team. You should know sports teams are judged by world cups! Fiji are two times world cup CHAMPIONS in 7's (97,05) so I wouldn't say NZ are the best team in 7's far from it. You have to win the 15's World cup before you make silly comments.

  • 1987???

  • Yeah correct in 1987. You are rite but that was in the non-professional era. We all know AB's are the best team between World Cup's but they are absolute chokers when it comes to the same stage.

  • nz is still the best sevens team ever they won the most sevens circuits but good try

  • When you hear 'Fiji', the first team you see in your mind is these guys. Undoubtedly the greatest sevens team ever to grace so kon po. This was Fiji's flagship set of 7 men who were the most famous and feared composition in rugby history. The only team that knew how to play with, and protect, Serevi. And may I add.. fiji's favourite sons as far as HK was concerned.

    TUKITI FOREVER!!!

  • The world experiencing the first ever tunnel ball in rugby...memories...this was way before fiji got tv..when this happened all fijians were huddled around radios cheering...nobody knew it was this awesome untill the video of the tournament came weeks later

Thanks for posting man..fiji sevens is simply awesome.

  • thats fucking sick!

  • My mind has been officially blown =/

  • is this the 70s

  • This is from 1990 Hong Kong 7s

  • simply fijian!sweetly sensational!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my dad was at that match when we used to live in hong kong, best sevens place in the world hong kong stadium

  • Fuck you, wanker!!!

  • For a 19 year old cheese burger flipping fag, you're not really bright.

  • yeww fiji is da bomb... an im not from there its the best place on earth!!!

  • It's just ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Great try ever staged throughout 7's as a whole.

  • tomasi cama jr plays for nz lol

  • IMO this was the best Fiji 7s team ever...with the likes of Mesake Rasari, Alifereti Dere, Vesi Rauluni, Waisele Serevi, Noa Nadruku and Tomasi Cama

  • what year was it?

  • This happened in the 1990 HK Sevens...

The try is the most famous in HK sevens history

  • The best Fiji sevens team has CAUCAU in it

  • Great try do they do a rugby sevens game on any console?

  • Vesi Rauluni throws a wild pass to Serevi with the defence closing in quickly taps it over he's head to Noa Nadruku who throws it between he's legs to the flying Tomasi Cama running around All Black winger John Gallagher for a try between the sticks...Fijian Flair at it's brilliant best!!!...This was he best team ever to grace So Kon Po!!

  • THE BEST EVER!!!
