It makes sense that human beings surrounded by waste material are the best to see how to make constructive use of it. We have not valued the materials we have refined and have heaped them in convenient piles for those who are wise to exploit. People whom the world has economically neglected and discarded are themselves showing us all the value in what we throw away. Will enough of us listen in time?
