@NarutoKirby165 Most of the PS2 games were released translated into English and released in Europe...the original The OneeChanbara was released as 'Zombie Zone', The OneeChanpuru: The OneChan Special Chapter was released as 'Zombie Hunters' and then they missed out The OneeChanbara 2 and released The Oneechampon: The Onechan 2 Special Chapter (the game in this video) as 'Zombie Hunters 2', which is pretty much just the same game with added extra characters anyway.

Great video to show the game some. I have only played Survival Mode so far on the PAL version since I need another memory card (primary is full). But overall, the observations are correct. Chicks in bikinis killing zombies are pretty cool. The zombies are varied enough that I will be playing it a lot more. I am thinking my friends will mostly enjoy the breast jiggle factor and the special attacks when I show them it this weekend. lol

Depends on if you want to devote time to it or not. The first stage for example was really boring and repetitive, but once you get to stage 2 and unlocked Aya and Saki, the game really starts to ramp up in fun factor. This game is one of my favorite obscured PS2 games, if that's saying much.

I've got "Zombie Hunters" just recently. Quite enjoyed playing it, though, it's actually quite hard, especially the boss battles! And especially as I made the mistake of levelling up my Combination rather than my Power (read it on a FAQ that Power should be the one you should level up first, then Vitality). Stage 2, and especially 3, was the biggest pain, as I didn't know where to go, and ended up running around in circles within the hospital.

I have to say, the graphics on this game is MUCH better than "Zombie Hunters". Looks almost like a next gen. game, when compared to ZH. And now, you can have a tag team, just like in "Oneechanbara Vortex", and Aya can throw knives, too, unlike ZH. I believe there are more girls in this game, too (8?). I was already thinking about getting this game, but after seeing this, I'm definitely going to get it!

There's a limit and it doesn't have a special finisher once you end it. One of the quests in the game requires you to do a full one.

As far as I can remember, filling up the ??? bar grants you a costume (forget which character it was for), and yes you have to open all flood gates on every level to fill it up.

There are no playable guys in this game. In addition, all the bosses (zombie bear is questionable, but it probably doesn't have a gender) are female. The only male characters you'll see are the zombie minions you kill along the way. Personally, it's better off this way, and makes the game fresh from the ordinary.

You're comparing two entirely different game genres by comparing this game to RE. This is a straight out action game made on a low budget, RE is a 3rd person survival horror/action game with puzzle elements made on a high budget.

For a low budget title this game is actually surprisingly good, especially the complex battle system and amazing music.

About the violet blood, I believe the game developers used it to tone down on the violence, as the original had red blood.

That's true, my "Zombie Hunters" had red blood. It sucks that the game developers chickened out with this game, and gone for violet blood, and therefore, had gone for a more "cartoony" look with the blood, just like Sega did, with the "House of the Dead" arcade machines, where they went for green blood! Still, if they cannot/will not use red blood for this game, they could've gone for green blood, as well. The greeness of it would've added to the wierdness of the zombies.

Man im only level 37 with Aya, im really struggeling to level up. I only have my combo level up bar half way... I guess you need it full to get thoses HUGE leveling orbs. you got any tips? or is it just a matter of stringing together lots and lots of precise hits? and dose the dificulty level effect the level orbs too?

You'll really need to max out the combination bar in order to obtain the best exp orbs, but that also requires you to be able to pull off full combos efficiently. Practice mode helps a lot here.

Difficulty doesn't effect what size of orbs you get, only your cool combo ranking.
