Ich nehm an, das ist vermutlich mit dem Handy aufgenommen worden. Daher kann man Scholls Stimme wegen der mäßigen Soundqualität des Videos nicht beurteilen.

I wanted to take a picture of Scholl when he took his bow and applause, but then he started to sing this encore. I switched my camera to video mode, but as you can see, it isn't high quality. Photo cameras aren't good video cameras.

Scholl is indeed a refined artist. Too bad this video and its audio are of poor quality. Regardless, Bach and Scholl = pure pleasure!

Obviously the quality of the video is poor.  Andreas Scholl, however, is the most astonishing countertenor known, even among many new good ones today. His tone, perfection of pitch and technique, breath control, and musicality are excellent, the closest singer to an alto castrato. He "brought down the house" last spring singing Handel at the Met. Male soprano Michael Maniaci said that his knees grew weak hearing Scholl in Copenhagen.

Please, don't take offence at me. It was MY mistake... Sorry. Mr Bach is my favorite composer and i love Mr Scholl as a performer of Bach. I'll never forget Bach Mass B minor 24.05.2003 with Collegiume Vocale Gent and Mr Philippe Herreweghe. Agnus Dei....It was so beautiful... Sorry again... Natasha

Ik ben op 't moment semi proffesioneel bezig. Ik zing in 2 jongenskoren, waar ik ook jaaaren jongenssopraan ben geweest, en ik zing in een professioneel ensemble. Ik zit in Zwolle in 't concervatorium.

Ik probeer net als scholl te worden, lijkt me fantastisch:D

He gehaktmolen, ik lees dat jij counter-tenor bent. Doe je dit professioneel? Zing je in koren? Ikzelf heb namelijk tot mijn 20e (afgelopen augustus) sopraan gezongen (ook in falset) bij een jongenskoor, het Sacramentskoor en de Choralen uit Breda. Ik zing vanaf september dit jaar bariton, eveneens bij het jongenskoor en ook nog bij een Belgisch mannenensemble en een ander bredaas vocaal ensemble.

Laat even wat weten!

This was indeed the concert in Rotterdam. This is the only encore that he did. Too bad you had to leave at the interval, because he was very good in the cantata Vergnügte Ruh', beliebte Seelenlust.

OMG, i see this was in Holland!! I missed the last cantate, shameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I have to sing this too in a few weeks, it should be sooo nice to hear it too. But i had to leave at the pause because of getting home by train. OMG OMG OMG , sooo sad:(
