  • @MrOther912 try hand stand walking and lots of practice, we do it at my judo club it really does help.

  • the trick is to look towards the floor instead of making ur head totally vertical, & learn to breath normally while practicing instead of holding ur breath

  • Yeah these are my favourite upperbody exercise.

    For people who can do them yet: Practice doing handstands for as long as you can, and by the time you can hold yourself up for about 30-35 seconds I'd say your ready to try them. Remember that you don't just start out by doing them so that your head touches the floor. You start by going down just slightly then work your way to doing them that way.

  • i do 3 sets 50 reps every other day of this push up...it builds your upper body like crazy!...it fucking works people!

  • you could try inclined push ups, or even better do handstand push up negatives.

  • kane, if you use weights, this is the same as a shoulder press... if you don't use weighs, you could always do Iso metrics... if you don't know what those are, send me a PM and I will hook you up with some info

  • handstand pushups off the wall arent very well for your upper back because the high pressure warps your spine and thats not good

  • Anybody can do 50 if they do them super fast, but that's not the correct way to do them. 99% of the time in lifting, you are much better off going at a slow and steady pace. In the case of handstand push-ups, it is best to go slow and bring your head all the way down to the floor before pushing yourself back up. If you can do 50 slow and with a correct form, then you might be an allstar, but any lifting nub can do a ton of reps if they go fast.

  • dude 50 is possible if your body is use this kind of stuff then veins dont burst and plus you can do them really fast

  • try it from crane position and back down thats harsh...otherwise practise abit and these are pretty easy
