  • Great idea, I tried it and it worked!! I'm going to miss killing them with fire.. =(

  • I would call it the evil genious way! xD

  • my right ear was deaf...

  • It's more fun to get rid of ants through a more dangerous method, like pouring gasoline and light 'em up.

  • JUST throw a grenade and RUN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • stop saying "actually" all the time, dumb ass.

  • sounds kinda fucked up

  • i have pets and young ones, if injested will this harm them?

  • @AmbitionzAzArdAh It shouldn't harm them, only dehydrate them a lot because of the salt in the borax. You could block off that area too ;p

  • @AmbitionzAzArdAh Sorry I'm late with your question, but it won't harm them. I use a similar technique for roaches. Boric acid works well on them also. It's deadly to insects because of their body weight. A small amount is all it takes. In order for boric acid to be harmful to humans and pets many pounds of it would have to be ingested. I just looked it up. A human would have to take 5-20 KG in order for it to be a fatal dose. if you use proportions, and infant at 15 lbs would be .5-2 Kg

  • @kingfish4242 cont. It's almost impossible for an adult to eat a pound of real food, let alone something like Boric acid. Your children and pets will be safe. You can also buy plain boric acid over the counter at most pharmacies and it's a lot cheaper than buying it in the form of Roach proof and Borax

  • Better way is get honey and boric acid and mix it into a paste. Put it on a piece of cardboard and put it in the path of the ants. Within 48 hours you will notice there will be less ants and after a week you wont see it again.'

No mess and no risk to anything and if your child or dog eats the product they wont die. You can eat a spoon full and at worse get a little dehydrated.

  • Yes, carpet would be fine, as long as the mixture doesn't get wet. When it gets wet, the powdered sugar and borax get sticky, and then harden. You wouldn't want this on your carpet fibers. But, without direct moisture (or extreme humidity) the mixture stays powdery, and should vacuum up just fine! Good luck! :)

  • @greenovationbuild is it safe for children around the house and what about if you have astma is bad for u

  • is it okay to put that on carpet? I am having trouble with ants on my carpet :(

  • nice! will try it out

  • thats horrible
