I was listening to random Neil Finn videos and thought I'd take a gander at this and I can't believe it but I was at that gig with the stripstease and often mention it to anyone when talking about why I liked "The House". Best thing was the way they didn't get heavy and kick him off stage in fact they called for him back on stage after he wandered off !!
I was there too, the guy was totally drunk but Hester was so impressed by the striptease (he was a bit of an expert on the subject) that he ran off stage and re-appeared with a bottle of champagne for the guy.
He must have drunk the lot before he came back on to sing with Neil as he could hardly stand up!!! Memories!!
