I bought it! Still got the vinyl. I was ten, and oblivious to any levels of irony or grown-up-ness about it, including the band name. "They" brought out a remix of a kids' TV theme, I obediently bought it and stuck it on the shelf next to Shaft's Roobarb & Custard and Jungle Book Groove, and went about my business eating sweets and making noises. Spoiled, we was. Good stuff - I can't actually remember it now, but you might like to know I remember enjoying the B-side too.

This was Pre Jungle.This Track came out in 92 and was considered Hardcore where Breaks were sped up around 127-140 then after Jungle Came out in the Mid Nighties With Raggae Samples and Heavy Bass Lines Dubbed Jungle Techno which later Called Ragga Jungle or just plain Jungle.

I don't know how anyone could hate this or say that it destroyed rave music. It's pretty obvious that it was produced as a joke record not meant to be taken seriously at all. Even as a song itself it's still good, a lot better than most stuff these days IMO. Besides without this song we wouldn't have gotten Charly and that is a great song as well.

Is this that "new"? Really?? For some reason, I thought it was very late 80s. I remember hearing it when going to a big hangout in East Lansing (MI) and I was in high school when we did that. Hm. I had the cassette single (CASSETTE! LOL) and put it on a mixed tape (is my age coming through??)...I will have to pull the tape out and see when it was made (I date everything).

Maybe it killed rave, but it also exposed a lot of people to it, too. A slippery slope to be sure, but it completely revolutionized the 90s for me and made me the upstanding citizen I am today. Life is about compromise.

Don't think you guys can be credited with killing rave, I was 17 when this came out and it's one of the tunes I remember that got me into the scene. Honestly not one of my faves (sorry) but memorable and I was going to large 'do's' for years to come. The scene still lives on but in a minority way now, shame but all good thing and all that.

Killed rave my ass...I was on the opposite end of the spectrum as it was the commercial success of this track (and a few others) that made it to the American Midwest (a difficult feat for any trend/genre/lifestyle/whatever­, even in the early 90s) and revolutionized my life. I still listen to your album with the same sense of awe and excitement as I did when I first heard it (particularly Apollo, which I find incredibly motivational, and Intruder Alert, which just damn fun). I remember reading in a book or maybe an interview with the Liam Howlett of The Prodigy.He said once this song came out and went big Rave was then commercialised and it was the beginning of the end.If this song hadnt done it though another one would have,it was bound to happen.Great song.I had "Now 18" or something like that on cassette tape and this was on it,cool:-))).

clipfest, or perhaps Smart E's could've

appeared in the opening, itsself, if they

had done the opening theme that way.

This show often used more time for some

clips than others, and this was one way

the theme song could've been extended.
