Japanese people are racist! If you're White and you're American and European, take advantage of the 'inferiority complex' you'll get from most Japanese. But when the ugly side of Japan finally shows its face, the bank loans you won't get, the rental apartments that are Japanese only, those are a small price to pay for the much harsher treatment most non Japanese Asians get in Japan, even if they pay taxes, and were born in the country and even love Japan like my friend.
I thought Hong Kong's condition is bad enough, thanks to the massive influx of uneducated and unethical immigrants from mainland China after 1997 which turn our civilized city into a living hell. But Japan is even worse.
when we only care about ourselves others will only get worst. If your life is well and stable it won't hurt to give a little. When we don't have compassion, we are by far worst than an animal.
Perhaps when I find the chance to move to Japan, I should become a philanthropist, help some of these decent folks out... They've worked their lives to watch their accomplishments mock them while they sleep with no roof to call their own.
wow.. i been there multiple times,, but abit later than 1, i saw 1 or 2 obviously homeless ppl, but most were partying teenagers or salarymen who missed the train. next time ill collect some cozy cardboard instead of sitting around waiting.till 4.
Yeah. I read in the BIG ISSUE magazine that some of these guys helped build the metropolis in Shinjuku, and now they can only sleep on the pavement and look up at the skyscrapers they once helped construct.
