  • @nicolastarello buy the d7000

  • Can you Hekp me please? I don't know wich camera buy. D300S or D700.

I have been told that D700 is an old camera, and that i can make every photo, the same with the d300s wich is cheaper. uBut i see there are two main big diferences, ISO and fullframe, any other appart from that?

    i have DX lenses.

    18-55mm 2.8 and 80-200mm 2.8 and a 17-200mm

i will really apreciate your help.

  • @Nicolastarallo well you will have to sell all your dx lenses first, 18-200 on an fx will give poor quality photos. get the d300s it is a lot cheaper and a brilliant camera. what camera you shooting with just now?

  • @dombower i am shooting with a d200 and i can borrow easily a d90.

is good to know i have to buy new lens. That a big issue....

so d300s or d700? you choose d300s..... and if you already had the d90? does the d300s worth it?

    thank you a lot!

    nico

  • @Nicolastarallo go d700 then, but if you need video it will have to be the d300s

  • @Xyb3rTeCh You clearly are a troll mixed with a large dose of douchebagerry.

  • Hey Dom, are you ever gonna switch to Mac?

  • 6:42 or so.... dom starts to look like the tin man from wizard of oz!

    Wicked!! Awesome reviews!

  • @ emanquil - song is called tired by "Adele"

  • I like the song, what's the title?

  • did you rent the d700? I didnt know you had the 700!

  • congratulations dom on getting a new camera! big fan of your videos, can't wait to see what ur impressions are after that wedding you have. would be good to know all the equipment you took now that u have the d700... also, what happened to ur s5pro?

i'm currently a canon 450d user, but seriously looking into getting a d300 (or d700 if money allowed it). thank for all the vids u've put up, they've seriously helped me improve. cheers!!

  • damn. that ISO is amazing.

  • man im jealous... now that u have the d700 u should buy those full frame f2.8 lenses like the 70-200 u've tested earlier.

  • @trongs01 The 70-200 2.8 is a greeat lens

  • wat software r u using?

  • adobe lightroom and windows movie maker

  • Great review, as always, but I was just wondering if there was a problem with your video camera because there's a bit of a vignetting at the top-left and bottom-left of the frame...

  • Dang, that was fast! :D

  • Cheers Dom, I was recommended the D700 for it's performance in low-light sitauations. It's just the scenario of changing from Canon to Nikon, I've only been active in photography for a couple of years, so it's not to bad. It's just changing systems when you got use to one. But overall I do feel Nikon have better options for low-light photography, but I'm talking in extreme cases such as dark clubs. Anyhow thanx for your knowledge and inspirational work. I hope your wedding day went/goes well.

  • The D700 Is an Amazing Camera but its Noise performance is Superior BUT Canon offers the 5D Mark II which as AN AMAZING camera you should check it out before switching there both great systems nothing wrong with it at all but the 5D mark II can Do exactly what the D700 could do the only thing i LOVE about the D700 is its AF system thats it but other then thats there both Great great systems im sure Dom would agree I was a Nikon to Canon user i love it i guess its all personal choice...

  • i think one of the main drawbacks with the 5dMk II is that it only has 3.9 fps, which is quite disappointing when looking at the d700's maximum of 8fps. then again, the 5D does have a 21.1Mp sensor as opposed to the d700's 12.1Mp. they're both amazing pieces of equipment, so it depends on what type of photography you would use them for...
