@magicidiot12345 Judging by this comment, you probably don't care for tier lists. But that is one reason for the existence of this tier list. As with most fighting games, Melee and Brawl's rosters were unbalanced, with some characters having sometimes major advantages over others. This way people can main formerly lower-tier characters that didn't stand a chance against higher-tier characters

Since you mentioned it, no, I don't nessecarelly agree with tier lists. I've taken two computers, one top tier and one bottom tier, made them play each other and the bottom tier actually won. It's about SKILL of the player not about the character. the best player always wins.

Judging based on how well the CPUs handle a character doesn't show how well a seasoned human will handle them, especially when using them to their full potential, advanced techniques and mind games included. An extreme example to make this point is Ganondorf vs MetaKnight (lowest vs highest tier). You'll be hard-pressed to win as Ganondorf against a human unless they're really bad at the game.

The game is out and this version they're making makes them no money, if anything he's probably quite happy because Project M's existence means more people will buy Brawl to play Project M, thus making sales go up. So he's just getting money money money.
