I'm sorry, but Sam's town was a half assed effort so soon after Hot Fuss. They tried to slow it down, but they didn't perfect it until Sawdust/Day and Age.

sam's town was the best album out of the 3, Hot Fuss in a close 2nd, Day & Age was crap with a 2 hits. This new album better be closer to sam's town with a mix of hot fuss.

If the band could kindly return to their sound on Hot Fuss I would be very happy, I wouldn't mind something like Sams Town either but please not Day & Age. I mean I liked it, but I'd rather they didn't hang around that sound too much!

I completly agree with you but honestly I much as loved hot fuss over the years  they have improved so much, I do not think the killers want to sound amateaur again. The sound of day and age was good however i did not prefere it compared to there b-sides or sam's town or hot fuss. is it me or has there style change just make you kind of sad, because they have not made an album that sounds like hot fuss anymore.

@KingHobba They haven't released any big information yet. But we know they have at least three songs under their belts right now (this one, one titled Runaways and a long-ass one called The Slot Tech. Also, there was a track that was kept off of Brandon's Flamingo album specifically for this one). They entered the studio in May of this year and have told everyone that they're taking their time on this one. The album is said to be titled "Battle Born" and should be released sometime in 2012. :)
