  • A wonderful song!!!!! I love it!!!!! Was this a promotional record?

  • Amtrak should use this song in a new add campaign. Great stuff!

  • Love this song!! Her dependable friend is a train!

  • yeah thats my kind of women

  • Cool. What song is on the other side? Anything, or is it blank?

  • its blank not even a lable. A lot of records from that time were like that. I collect 78rpm records and hand crank phonographs as well thats my second passion

  • Yeah, I kinda figured, just was wondering. If you live near Kennebunkport, Maine, there's an electronics repair shop that sells restored radios, & some with turntables in them also. I bought a nice 1939 Breadbox RCA radio from him last year, & it's got a really nice sound being a tube radio & all. I'll give you the address, & Ph # if you're interested.

  • I Live in Franklin NH it's near the lakes region. If that store sells any hand crank phonographs i would love to check them out. I dont do much with electric machines.

  • Excellent! Where did you get that record??! I've been looking for a copy of that song forever. I added it to my favorites. Thanks for posting it.

  • I found the record on ebay. could not belive it when i saw it. I was told about the song a few years before. so i didnt even bother to bid i just did the by it now. It sounds the best when its played on a hand crank phonograoh then a electric player sounds more full. I try not to play it to much do to the crack. glad you liked it. thanks for viewing
