Hi I'm from Croatia. Yes this is a small countrey, only 4 million people. But also much bigger killing history than America. Here was a war 20 years ago. There was about 400 000 soldiers. About 300 000 of them have psyhical problems PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Last year was the action of collecting weapons left behind from the war. They collected over 700 000 pcs of weapons. There is alot more (from people who didn't return it) but we don't have so much murders. Only a few per year...

We do have strict gun laws. Most states have 5 year mandatory sentencing guidelines for having guns not registered. The problem occurs when the court system "plea bargans it away." The court system in our country is the problem. Other countries wouldn't do such a thing. Having "more" laws insn't the problem its are you going to enforce them?

My brain is exploding. The reason those parts of town are safe, is because the homes are protected by the people with guns lawfully. He asks what are we afraid of? Nothing because we are protecting ourselves. The 2nd Amendment is to protect our homes and families from not only criminals, but tyrannical government totalitarian/authoritarian fucks with opinions like this.

@ckairnes68 The first half of your statement is true. The second half is false. The 2nd Amendment was really put there as a check on government powers. You'd be amazed at how effective it is when negotiating property tax assessments. Government only listens to the use or threat of use of force.

@WB1200 How? His argument is that less guns will make less crimes, when the opposite is true by scientific fact and statistical observation. The harder you push, the harder the people push back. You're on the wrong side. Get on the right one before the people push too hard for the government to control it.
