dont worry, if you see: "muchas gracias" and "buen video" its a good commentary hahahaa LOL

XD

  • How hard wheels do u need for this? Is it possible to pull this off with 78mm 80A wheels?

  • Teach us how not to fall on our ass a rip the skin of the side of my body

  • do you need speacial inline skates for this or can you do that with every kind?

  • @MultiSuperPotato Not with aggressive skates, they do it diffrently

  • @MrChoonify oh okay thanks :D

  • an helmet?

  • it's getting that back foot sliding that's the hardest thing- You gotta get the right angle on it.

  • omg you have 5 wheels???

  • You look like Negreanu! haha. Cool video~

  • Awesome! Thanks for the great instructions!

  • lov'it.. keep it stylish :))

  • Dear Daniele und Sara, thank you for your help, I started skating, and your posts contributed a lot, and now thanks God, I can go on the streets and enjoy. Thank you for giving away what you also like.

  • Nice vid. And girl dancing :) Good job! I should go out and try it now.

  • Nice vid. And girl dancing :) Good job! I should go out and try it now.

  • How much wear is there on your wheels?

Do you need to change them every week or so?

  • nice, does it hurt knees?

  • if i take off my back stop from my fitness roller

can i ride and parallel slide without any problem?

  • can u do this on agressive inline skates?

  • that very helpful

  • Tank you so much !!

  • I'm trying to decide what wheels to get to parallel slide with. I like the 90mm wheels I have on my rollerblades but there are not many choices at that diameter . I found some called Hyper Agent Orange that are 90mm 89a but when I called the web page support to ask a question they said that those wheels are for indoor only. Does anyone know if these are good wheels or should I purchase some 84mm 89a wheels which seems like the next best thing? Thank you.

  • thanx for the tips! cool

  • 1:03 BOMBON!!

  • about a week if ur realy good at skating but if ur not about 3-4 weeks

  • Comment removed

  • PRO.....

  • i just got my skates, how long will it take for me to learn this :S

  • Bad ass. I notice you all have some pretty nice skates, 5-wheels? Is that required or recommended?

  • @oneaware Their skates are downhill skates, however 5-wheels skates are not only made for downhill. I'd say it's best to learn with such skates for you have small wheels, which means more balance. 4 or 5 small wheels doesn't change much though

  • if i have a 76mm 82A wheels is it possible to pull this of?, or do i need harder wheels?

  • I fell and cracked my ass it looked like a shit parade of blood

  • Wow! Very good instructions, now I just need to learn that :)

  • thx i basted my head

  • I trayed to do it so many times, but it just doesn't slide!

  • thx

  • thanks man, it really helped me, do you know some other tricks, please answer!!!!

  • is it possible to do these on aggressive skates? mine are much fatter and only have 2 wheels each

  • Amazing

  • what that for rolls?

  • flat spots

  • can you do this with 2 wheels on each blade? :s (57mm 94a)

    cool vid anyway

  • how many times do i have to fall down to get it right? lol

  • I just started using inline skates...my shins hurt after striding and practicing T-stops for around 5 minutes...is that normal? I wanted to try doing this parallel slide but I decided to take it easy...This video is AWESOME, by the way. :)

  • I wasted 10 minutes looking for a good powerslide tutorial :D now I have the ONE! thanks for share it :P

  • @danipe the poweslide isn't this one : this is the parallel slide. The powerslide is quite a bit easier in fact.

  • Great :)

  • What is the best configuration of wheels? (please)

hink that my are very soft

    84mm 82A (HYPER MICRO RX -ABEC-7)

    waiting your aswer...

    tk´s

  • @boaro79 it s better to use hard wheels because its more easy to slide, may you try 85A you ll feel the difference

  • @Freez3rNo1 ok...thanks man...

  • great video....i loveD

  • smooth and sweet....

  • Just makes me wanna try it out! Well done, I also like the second part where you say what happens if you don't do it properly. Well done!

  • haha that is easier on my old skates, which were Tour hockey skates, lol now im on inline speedskates, and you havent lived until u have powerslid an entire corner indoors while in a race going 35 mph haha

  • Thank you!!!! I put it on my favourites =)

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks so much! im gona get this!!

  • really good

  • very nice tutorial indeed will try this tonight or later :)

  • well explained thx!i will pluck up the courage and try it out tomorrow!

  • Fantastic tutorial!!! I've always admired slidng... but never had the guts or info to try it. THANKS!!!! I'm strapping on my blades NOW!!!

  • is this easier on ice or inline?

  • @Philly4Life1818 ice by far

  • Any tips on how not to make your wheels stuck on parking concrete space as you turn your legs like that? I always either keep going to that 90 degree angle or mess up with something. Its hard to slide like that :s

Even tho I know hockey stop, so I've learned how to slide on one leg while facing the other way

  • perfect

  • what's with your skates having 5 wheels each?! they look crazy! =)

  • nice tutorial. i couldn't find any other tutorial on powerslide. there were all crap. thanks.

  • omg this is awesome so cool love it

  • tnx mn i wish all tutorials are this good

  • oh and btw, it also really helps to learn it if you have rockering - for example 1st and 4th wheel are 75mm while 2nd and 3rd wheel is 80mm

  • before learning how to parallel slide it REALLY helps to learn how to do s Acid slide with Right foot and Soul slide with left foots (if you are going to do a parallel over your right shoulder)

  • heyyy would it work withh gel wheels or only with plastic wheels?

  • hey will the inline skates not damaged ???

I could think they lost their round

  • @IICYANII yes it damages the skate, if done inmproperly =)

  • anyone got it? I've been practicing this for like 3 days with not so much improvement><. But not in such a good surface either... how long did it take for you guys to get it?

  • @zerocooljpn took me half a year =) (most of my friends that can do it, skate over 2 years)

  • rofl @falling outside means big mess

  • Yeah, like it! Thanks! =) Will try to learn it!

  • best paralel slide tutorial ever!!!

  • love it man ty

  • THATS GOTTA BE HARSH ON THE WHEELS...WOW! but still awesome lookin

  • @J8neSez not really, regular T-stop is much harsher on the wheel

  • i like the video but i cant do it :((

  • highly supportive for beginners cos it show the failure points ....

  • can you do this with any kind of wheel?

  • @zn1p3r0wnz

u need to do a smaller angle

  • what is your wheel hardness?

  • best tutorial i've seen so far

  • @n0pr0f1l3 word

  • Do you have to do that thing with your hands?

    ;) 5 stars

  • best vid ive seen

  • niiiiiiiiiice

  • that was sik thx

  • I agree with previous posters that this is the best stopping video by far! And entertaining as well. I can do this on ice skates but are struggling somewhat on the uneven surfaces of London sidewalks, any suggestions?

  • get rid of sticky wheels, the ones he is using is hard as rock and therefor slides well. These are for high speed and less wear. Soft wheels make them more sticky in turning kind of the fealing of newly sharpend iceskates.

  • @zer0art soft wheel = waste money.. XD

  • @nictheartist normally i do this in hydepark or even better trafalgar square ...

  • Personally I think that this is the best stop video I have ever seen!!! Slide is very useful for me so I say many thanks!!!

  • One of the best stop videos I have seen.

Question: I am 63 and intermediate skater. Are there some surfaces that might throw a skater? (e.g. rough asphalt, tiled pavement, etc.). How would you stop on cobblestones (like everywhere in Europe?

  • Great video. Thanks for helping me!

  • cool vid

  • why dont my wheels slide when i do it when i do it i end up flat on my face cause they stop rite away at the rink

  • well this video did help me a little so thanks ill try to do that n hope i succeed

  • I like it dude, Nice Video :-)

  • men, it looks easy but really hard

  • good video

  • my god, so cool, 100 points

  • dose this work on agressive skates aswell? :P

  • yes it does

  • hey what about the weight u put on each feet ... cause i learnt on ski nd when u do parallels u shoud put a lot of weight on the downhill feet... but on this flat surface i supose not !!

    what do u say!!

    nice man hugs =)

  • she's beautiful!!

  • can you do it on indoor hockey?

  • i need some help finding skates that are not speed or hockey, i just want a "half" skate under 100$ cause everything i look at has a brake on each side so if you guys could help i would appreciate it.

  • nothing practical.. Video just says to learn parallel slide you should learn parallel slide..

Tips like turn and slide, dont be stiff, feel the slide are kind of useless..

  • lol i do this in speed skates but i like putting ppl near a wall then going fast then jump then land sideways then slide sideways when you land. they like shit their pants so much fun.

  • Don't "turn" into the slide...pivot...or you're going to end up on your ass...And if your wheels are super grippy asphalt wheels...See Ya!...Have a nice 5 metre roll...

  • What kind of wheels do you need?

  • ha! fail. wear an helmet. 1:37

  • thanks a lot for tut, I'm going to practice :)

  • do u hav to use speed skates or can u just use and pair of skates

  • this stuff is very hard, i skate some 10-12 years (agressive, freestyle, hockey) and i can only do it if the ground is wet or dusty

  • Best of all the tutoring videos I've seen so far. Please tell me one thing: is the slide performed on the edge of the steel frame(s) or on the wheels themselves? I assume, if it's the wheels, it won't matter, if they roll in the process or not?

  • 1st of all sorry my english!

i'm a moderate skater! what is that speed what i try for practice?

    thnx

  • Very glad you guys showed the errors as well. Most how to vids don't . Great vid. I will try this today.

  • Arigato ^_^

  • ive done that once but i literally skidded like 3 or 4 times and ppl were looking like what the fuck i was like yeh thats how u do it LOL

  • Yeah! Can hardly wait to get good at this!

...But of course I will learn in a slow pace :)

  • why?

  • an helmet? moar liek an hero, amirite?

  • Thanks a lot :D this will really help me. It's really great btw !!

  • thanks man was looking for another way to stop (spins don't work when you're going fast)

  • I would like to learn more tips.

Could you please make more videos ? TY

  • Dude nice vid very good plese do more how to videos

  • damn if there's a C shape den you go in to parallel slide issit still counted as a parrallel slide or a hocky slide? o.o meaning going to ur left den turn as parallel followed by the slide..

  • This is a very well put together video. Very good. Have 5 stars

  • Great howto. Do I need to have aggressive wheels to do that or it can be done by 78As as well?

  • You can't slide one agressive skates with the wheels, the best is to have downhill wheels or freeride wheels in the 85A but you can do it with 78A as well but they get used mutch faster and slide less.

  • Very instructive, thanks.

Please do more "how to" videos.

  • seems like i need to break my ankles to stop like that

  • great! i'll try it soon! thank you very much! :)

  • @danielel73, are your skates rockered in any particular way?

  • Have to try that on my new rollerblades :P

  • Very helpful vid! Kudos to this video very informative. This looks very easy but damn its hard to apply it. I have fallen badly trying it again and again. I cant seem to stop, my blades just continues to turn, how do you stop it from going through after you tilt your blades?

  • practice

  • thanks ramzevans. Doing that already. But i want to know what I am doing wrong. I guess i didnt tilt the blades enough to stop.

  • do you ice skate? it's quite similar to a "hockey stop"

  • Very usefful, thank´s for the vídeo.(Obrigado, from Portugal)

  • Just had a go on some skates today, went down the road and didnt know how to stop, thanks for the vid dude

  • I've just learned the powerslide now and improving it. Wat is the maximum size wheels to do this. You even do this on skeelers

  • i have only done this once on accident i want to do it again but cant kick my skates sidways

  • i am going to learn this thanks for the video :))

  • 4 some reason i can;t go dam do this like i can powerslide on ice but when it come to rollerblade it do't work probley not truning fast werd : / any insite on this problem any body got this problem

  • Thanks for that vid. ill try to learn this with my new skates =)

  • cool as shit, bollocks to the wheels!

  • thanks dude i learned alredy

  • tyvm for this tutorial, but with slyding aren't you creating "flat spots" on your weels?

  • yes, flat spots...

  • the wheels are tilted. so the flat spot doesnt really effect your rolling to much.

  • u still need speed if u do't go fast it well not work

  • how often do u need new wheels from this?

  • from 3 to 4 weeks depending on how often u do this!

  • TNKS!!!! i was looking something like this... very cool.
