  • glad you said something/ I said the same thing about the brushs look kinda different each time. My 224 looks bigger than some people, and I notice other people sizes varied

  • sister from another mister...ROTFL! HAHA, I love it! :)

  • what is your opinion on crown brushes, how would you compare them to sigma?

  • @jesssimae I havent trued them yet but I will be pretty soon

  • Great review, I have 2 of the SS239s one is thicker and taller. One of my SS252s is thicker than the other. There consistency definitely isn't on point. Overall decent tools :)

  • great review girl! :o)

  • Great review i was going to get the brushes for travel but i will think about it all little more!thanks again

  • you have BEAUTIFULLLLLL eyes!!!

  • Good review it was nice and honest. I was thinking of buying these brushes but now I am not too sure. I will definatly look into it more. Thank you so much, girl!

  • Thanks for the great review. I do definitely agree with you and say that they're great beginner brushes, or to have while you get some more high quality ones. :)

  • I caught your cold~~~~ your the reason im sick lol Great review~~~

  • @ChocolateCandyBeauty LMAO! hahaha!!!!!

  • thanks for the update as i will not be purchasing them

  • I really like the 197 and travel set. The travel set is pretty well made, except for the 187. Sheds, so the eye brushes are really the highlight there. Other than those, I am good with my growing MAC collection. One MAC brush a month is good for me. Great insight and review! I hope they do rename.

  • Thanks Karen! Love the honest review. I have only one Sigma and it is the stippling brush. I searched the net and even Ebay and ended at Sigma because of the price. It sheds like crazy! I am glad I only purchased one and may leave it at that. I was not sure if anyone else felt the same way until I saw reviews from you and SPNation. Thanks again, hon!

  • Thanks for the review! Interestingly enough I've found that even when buying MAC brushes the sizes and shapes vary slightly from brush to brush; particularly with the 217 and 224 brushes. I may try the sigma brushes out just to have for backup

  • @cowens100 That's a very good point and I'm sure there are some others who have experienced that also.

  • @ameritrini Yea Like My 187 For Instanse Mine Looks Really Thin Not As Dense As The Ones I See On Here Or On Display

  • I'm so glad you did a review on these brushes! You confirmed my concerns which is the inconsistency with these brushes. I'm no professional but I am a makeup hoarder...er...I mean collector? Lol...anywho... I don't NEED MAC brushes but if I can't rely on Sigma to ship me the same brush that I think I'm ordering (if that makes sense) then I would rather save up for the MAC brushes.

  • This is why I like you, NO B.S. keep doing what you do and I'll keep watching !!!

  • Wow I really appreciated your review on these brushes. It was well thought out and seemed fair to me. Thank you for your thoughts on the products.

  • haha ...mac money loves it

  • Thanks for the honest review...I am still on the fence if I should invest in them or not because there are so many mixed reviews...ahhh...but I appreciate your honesty! :)

  • The best sigma review by far, to the point, short and sweet

  • Thanx for the honest review! I think they should change there numbers on hte brushes so they cacn make a name for themselves. I think it will stop some people fom compairing them to MAC all the time. They r good for beginners tho. Much luv and God Bless! :O)

  • ....I am a beginner and I bought these brushes, highly disapointed I have to make myself use the brushes because I paid for them. I would never buy these brushes again.....save your money and buy mac or other quality brushes

  • Thanks for this Karen :) xx

  • Great review. I totally agree that these brushes are great for beginners that are just getting into makeup and can't really invest in quality brushes, but definitely not for professionals.

Keep the reviews coming gorgeous :-)

  • @SongbirdDiva4Life Thank you!!!! I miss ya on here girl!!!!!!

  • Thank you so much for your honest review. I love the brushes simply because they are affordable. My powder brush from sigma sheds non stop even after cleaning. Do you find that any of the brushes that you have shed? I bought the travel kit and was considering the professional but I am so sick of the shedding. Thank you friend.

  • @Lokestanator Thanx hun! They have shed a little but it wasnt a big issue for me

  • Hey Karen , your review is on point. I had the same experience with the 224. they actually sent me a replacement on it. I ordered the 197 which is now called synthetic flat top kabuki f80 and Tara from sigma did correspond to me that they are in the process of renaming their brushes. I have all that brush set but I find I am unsatisfied so I have been purchasing my MAC brushes one at a time. their brushes are on allcosmeticswholesale as well..all of them new and old set.

  • @msfynemaple Thanx for that doll!

  • This is why I like you !!! No B.S. keep doing what you do gurl and i'll keep watching !!!

  • I love how honest you are.. I'm always wanting to buy these. But I still think their are cheaper brushes for less money.. And because i'm not a profesional also.. lol..

Thanks for the review and keep the tutorials coming..

  • Hey girl, thanks for the revieuw. I ordered the face brushes. I dont like the SS187. I use the concealer brush every day and I like it. I want to buy the SS109 but I'm not sure, maybe I'll picj de MAC109.

  • EXCELLENT REVIEW DARLING! Yes Im shouting..lol!

  • This is why I like you !!! No B.S. keep doing what you do gurl and i'll keep watching !!!

  • Like the video it helps with deciding on buying these brushes, but I did buy the 197 and the 239 today to try, LOL...

  • Hmm..how old is the first ss224 vs the new one you got from them? I bet you they changed their quality once they got so much buzz because that's what I'm concluding from what people who bought them at the beginning vs. people who bought them much later. Yes, I've had a few brushes literally come apart and I am NOT alone in that. It's pathetic. Thank you for keepin' it honest!

  • @ThesPNation lol I got those brushes in February I think. I still use them but they have started kinda flaring out a bit :(

  • Great review Soror. I just ordered the premium set and I can't wait to get it to try them out. I will do a review on my experience.

  • @Divalawgirl Thanx Soror! Lemme know what you think when you do!

  • Thanks for good and honest review!

  • Out of all the reviews I've watched, yours was the best....although you were honest, you didn't bash Sigma like I have seen others (especially with Sigma "sending" you the brushes) I do own this kit and it's a decent set, it gets the job done...so thanks

  • Thank you for your honest opinion!

  • great review karen!

  • Hmmm I must have one of the newly renamed 'SS197' brushes. Mine arrived this week and 'it says what it is on the tin' - Flat Top Kabuki Brush rather than SS197.

Thank You for doing the review.

  • You are soooo right..I had two SS224 brushes and they were totally different. Thanks for the review..

  • You are so honest in your reviews!

  • Very Honest review!!!! Thank you......I only have the ss197 and I love it.....But that is honestly where I have stopped with them....mainly because I have so many MAC, NARS and other brushes I don't need them and I like to invest wisely

  • thanks for keeping it real I have these brushes and I wish the brushes were a little smaller for the different eye shapes.
