That is the best flight simulator I've ever had. It's a pitty nobody makes hardcore flight sims anymore... Even LO:MAC isn't as realistic as Falcon.

I want to get into flight sims. I have flight simulator x, but im bored. Just flying, scenery addons etc. This online sounds AMAZING! But I dont know WTF im doing. The trainign doesnt say anything, I dont know what Im doing. Are there better games to start with? All the switches before takeoff! Do u actually need to bea pilot to play this? lol

@BuckFastZombie I find Flight Simulator boring and I prefer military sims. A good one for you to try is Falcon 4 Allied Force (which is kinda obsolete), Lock On: Modern Air Combat (which is also kinda old, but not that much). There's DCS: A10C Warthog from the same company which is new. And if you like World War 2, the best is IL-2 Sturmovik's sequels.

Anyone have any tips for doing that without getting hit by SAMs or AAA? I've tried the chaff and flare and scissoring my way through the air but nothing works. Any help guys?

@m1ndfr34k117 If it's an IR SAM you won't be able to do much else. If it's radar guided, fly perpendicularly to the launch site (radar has a hard time tracking targets at that angle). Lowering your altitude and using terrain masking helps as well.

Excuse me for asking, but was that a hot area you flew into? Were there SAM sites and such? Because if there were you were supposed to drop flares after your bombing run.

@shadowblade145 Sam sites have radar guided missiles, flares have no effect on those.. you must use chaffs for those. SAM sites are usually taken out before any strikes with wild weasels missions.. what you mean is manpads man portable air defence, they are like stingers heat guided, you can never get rid of them, but they are slow at reacting, since they are infantry carried and takes som time setting up. you should always drop flares when you go in for a close bombing so you are correct :)

I was at the 3 degree marker on the HUD up untill right around the fence were the speed got a tad low and I added power. yeah weird, perfect nah. This was in my first week of falcon anyways - definitely wasn't used to the High AOA approach that's heavily reliant on power.
