I live in Utah, and I have felt stuck in life. Because of my religion and sexual orientation, I have been beaten down so far emotionally I have felt to be so small. Too small that I can't move on because I am not worth much. I know this may sound dramatic, but I cried when I saw this video because it made me feel like actually making a change. After high school I felt so alone and couldn't get out of my depression, but even though I'm finally following my dreams I realize I didn't have to look away to find joy in the world. It's all around you. Build yourself up, work on those negative sides of yourself you feel need improving on. And remember this as well: It gets better. It did for me.

I dated a girl for seven years, and I know I got off lucky cause I had supportive friends and family around me the whole time. It's a lot worse for others, but I believe you should be who you are cause only that way will you ever be happy with yourself. Find a circle of friends who care about who YOU are. Not what turns you on. Lying to yourself only hurts in the long run after all.
