  • this is a hIp HOP :)

  • @Krazy2014 U a jaycat. Come at a real white boy talkin that shit. I grew on welfare broke ass fuck on section in the outer sunset projects...pops on dope. And most Asians I know are thugged out....deep down I know hella you black mafuckas that are scared of the locc'd out Cambodians and Vietnamese Crips in the

  • Doesn't matter where I go. I listen to these old tracks like this and I know my heart's in San Francisco for life! That's my hometown.

  • laughed at the fingerwaves back then laughing at them now lol heee heee

  • This was my first album I bought at the age of 9...

    Props to myself!

    Fillmoe for life!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • the technology for making a music video in '94 was shit, but the music is a million times better and more meaning full than the shit we are exposed to today.

  • Peace?

  • Anthem!

  • I remember back in the day I wanted that sweatshirt ! Revere st - The moe

  • damm this message is so strong

  • Dumbass coments

  • 1:47 i think this is the best line this song

  • im white and spent half my life grownin up in the hood. i don't dress black or act like it but black people have always related to me because i actually understand the struggle. I get what everyone on here is saying about white people not appretiating what they have. I see it and just shake my head, they don't know what it's like. especially the white kids acting ghetto in the suburbs, makes me laugh every time.

  • Although this country says we are all equal, its absolutely far from it. I myself am Asian, but we're not the only minority. I see that whites do have better advantages in life and society, I'm not being racist or anything here. Latinos and Asians are the hardest working people out here in the US and earn less than the average white man. My stepfather works 14 hours a day and he's at such an old age now. The black man is also a minority as they are looked at differently and often judged.

  • Positive hip hop with a message, now thats rare as fuck !

  • @Blitz3677 ur fucking stupid

  • @8infectedTesticals pffff ...elaborate dumb ass ???

  • Wow, this is real music. Listen to the flow, meaning, and rhythm. That's what makes it hip hop, not that shitty "music" that comes in these days

  • 4 ppl wouldnt know good music if it punched their mom in the cunt

  • good lord!

  • That's real hiphop right there

  • So Dope!

  • 4 people arent around

  • i want that 49ers hat @2:29

  • @musicjunky91 thatz a sick ass hat i think you can get a mitchell and ness one maybe if the have them but thatz old skool

  • @831daking its a kelly green bottom aswell @3:18

  • Some people life their lives and they just dont know that people starving, they cant pay their rent and other stuff. I spent 17 years living in the poorest part of my town, and I saw people who were ready to do anything to get some hot food. And I just want to say that such songs help people like me, people like you who fights for their lives in the "ghetto" to stay strong and forget about their hard times for 4:01 minutes

  • 1.03 is that dudes hair or a doo rag?

  • ima down young brotha comin straight outta frisco

  • damn son so true

  • its crazy to see how music can go from something so great like this to so shitty like lil wayne within 20 years haha wtf happened during the transition

  • Yeah man. Rappin 4 Tay for LIFE.

  • Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.........ths dude is hard..i remember he featured with PAC on one of his All eyes on me cut..the lyrical content and quality relates to pac's early projects too..Brenda had a Baby can relate to this..shout to all the brithers who gave us real hip-hop frm the 90's ..its a shame, the industry hs gone bonkus now..but we will play yo shit over n over.

  • Rappin' 4-Tay

    -"The Philosopher of Rap" !

  • This is real hip hop.All that good stuff from the 90s like Naughty by Nature,Digital Underground,Above the Law,Mellow Man Ace,Luniz,NWA,Geto Boys,2 Live Crew and many other groups and artists from back in the day.

  • I love this song

  • true bay hip-hop

  • Pure dope! Thanks for liftin'

  • Now this is really somethin to think about!

  • This is real quality hiphop! The hiphop nowadays are better known as "shithop"

  • wutchu want NINE? haha

  • LOVE THIS SONG!~ SOOO TRUE

  • Reminds me of Nine - Any MC

  • @trailstar1

The beat is almost the same thought Nine did it better.

  • @trailstar1 same sample - the spinners ill be around

  • to bigalbs1 What a sad pathetic person you are that you feel you have to make such a rude comment. You dont know me or what is involved in my life. I like to make videos and slide shows to share with my family and friends and I have many. With a personallity like yours, I'm sure you dont have many

  • "silly,it's called versatility and i'll be around"...that has always been my favirote verse,rappin-4-tay speaks the truth, real flow right here.

  • Sick flow

  • how the hell does he rap like that...

  • fuck yer Hearty wOOp

  • ill be around...

  • Love the song and the 49er gear.

  • nine used this sample too

  • Rappin' 4 Tay says he stays "Sucka Free"

  • real legend of rap

  • Being Mexican and being able to get away and into a university was whole new level for me. All i see is Asians and Whites and quickly i see that these kids don't appreciate shit, they were given everything in life. There's people on the street that are way smarter than a good majority here. The system was built to keep us down and we could be something great like 4-tay said "this new generation holds a whole lot of dreams" Give everyone an equal opportunity and they'll do great positive things.

  • @Krazy2014 Yes I know what you're talking about , because I'm white and the system as you know it has set aside a trust fund for me in the sum of 10 million just waiting for me when I turn 18 ...every White and Asian child has this fund , but the system does not for the Blacks an Mexicans to keep them down the "system" only offers special minority rights jobs where they set aside a percentage of jobs for minorities ,and minority full ride scholarships ...damn racist system. DOUCHE BAG !

  • @yerwrng haha yeah that comment came out all racist huh. Well I got nothing against you dawg I'm just saying what I went through and how things are but I know that there's people that suffer the same fate of being poor and going through hardships even if their are white or anything else.

  • @Krazy2014 Asians weren't given everything in life, they had to work to get where they are. Sure there are the few that take their wealth for advantage but thats the case with every race. Think about it, Chinese in Canada had to work pretty much until death to make the CPR Railway and in China as well they had to build the Great Wall and they haven't complained. Any group you go to there are always kids saying racist jokes about Blacks, Mexicans, and Asians so don't think they take advantage.

  • @TheEbucks123 You're absolutely right, I'm speaking through experience, almost through today's stereotype but it's hard in today's standards because of the let downs. You're correct that they had to work for what they have. Asians and other races are very dedicated and focused, it's amazing. That's why their labeled the minority example where their telling every race to be like them. I'm just trying to set an example for those who are down but I have a lot of respect for others.

  • @Krazy2014 Definitely, people think that they have rid of racism but it isn't gone at all, sure there aren't lynchings and other brutalities but in everyday life there are many examples of racism, I don't mind it, but I also don't have large amounts of it, some jokes are pretty creative but for the most part every person is dedicated to their race, so I agree with you completely.

  • @Krazy2014

Don't lump all whites into privileged fucks. My family is well off but my father taught me to work for my dollar. We're not all yuppie assfucks that get BMW's from their rents.

  • @Marconis4 You're the man, fight for your shit

  • @Marconis4 exactly...swear to god. Im bi racial, but black people act like every white person who is well off jus got it handed it to them....You work hard you get what you want back in return, something the black race needs to understand, the unemployment rate is at its highest right now for them.

  • @Krazy2014 4-Tay's message was not racism. I admire you getting away and into college. But seeing some whites that had shit handed to them doesn't make it true for the all of us. You realize that's being racist? I'm white, but the last thing my parents ever did was get me everything. I had to work to graduate and get to college just like you did. Also, I have to chuckle since you brought up Asians. If there was one stereotype that was true, Asian parents make damn sure their kids work hard.

  • There are a lot of different types of "white" Whites from US are freaky in my opinion Whites from Germany ( like me ) , Poland Russia Swiss Austria France Belgium Danmark Sweden Finnland aren't like them! But everyone here is forgotten something, it isn about a colour. Everyone is human, think about it. There are also blacks or latins who gives there children everything? There are whites who give their children nothin asian black white latin FUCK THAT WE ARE " H U M A N S"
  • @83alx yh its not about race its about social class theres working class folks and then theres rich folks im brown and poor dont mean all brown peeps are poor

  • @83alx ur stupid.........u got the wrong message

  • @8infectedTesticals I'll have a discussion with you when you can spell out the word "you."

  • @83alx Sorry, but u will never know the life of a "Latino or African American". We work harder then most whites and u know this. Who does all the jobs that most white people dont do? That mainly shows how hard we as "minorities" work to live in the U.S.

  • @KpR333 You want to know something? That attitude right there - "you'll never know what my life is like" - won't get you anywhere. That holds back progress just as much as racism does. Sure, I'll admit that a lot of Hispanics do a lot of the hard work (i.e. manual labor) in this country. But why do you get to look down on a White man because his job may not require manual labor?

  • @83alx i dont expect one thing i say to get me anywhere, i expect myself by what i actually do to get me somewhere. its just im much more a realist. Peace and unity will never happen, u got to realize. Sure a lot of people might agree that we would all like to unite as one but be real it WONT happen. What i am saying is that latinos and blacks rise from the bottom and do whatever it takes for a better life, u probably do not see this because u were born in the U.S right?

  • @KpR333 No... that's the problem. It won't ever change if you don't try to change it. You think MLK had the same attitude as you? Nope. And he got the Civil Rights movement started. The kind of attitude you've got makes everyone look down on you.

  • @83alx i can agree. my dads asian and damn....i work hard lemme tell ya that. started manual labor at 12

  • @Krazy2014 uhh Asians work hard, shit doesnt get handed to them!

  • @Krazy2014 not all white or chinese people are like that.... im white... and i do give a damn cuz i know what it's like to be poor xD

  • @Krazy2014 just because somebody is white doesn't mean they are given everything in life, saying that is stereotypical and racist in itself.

  • @Krazy2014 Considering the fact that Asian parents would kill their kids if they didn't go to school..LOL.

  • @Krazy2014 haha haten on asian cause we smarter than yall?? wtf?? who given us shit?? name one person?? o our parent?? the one that work their ass off..the one that working the system and not complain all the time about how bad america is?? and this so call california ain't it use to belong to the mexican??? with that to say damn you guys are smart giving the white man your lands!!! hahah

  • haha this song is the best bro

  • beat is like nine wutcha want

  • Dont see why people insist on living in the past, yeah today is shit but good things never last forever. Thats what makes them so great! If this music was around today it wouldn't mean so much to us.

  • @turtleface91 that makes a lot of sense...i guess things dont last forever and things change constantly!!! there will never be another 90's hip hop...

  • the truth right here

  • I love this song

  • @Spike00513z lol? so just because she was a girl and was a gang-banger, that means she was looking for love?

but lmao at 3 cholos with hammers against one girl... if they gonna stack up odds like that, they really should rob the nearest bank and 1 themselves... omg, that's so pathetic... lol... 3 cholos with hammers against one defenseless girl!!! hahahahaha

  • defenseless girl? more like retarded ass bitch fuck her

    u idiot

    defenseless

what the fuck is a hammer grab the shit and whoop all their midget mexican asses

    u weak

  • @Spike00513z a hammer is as dangerous as a knife if not more dangerous.30 seconds of hitting someboy in the head with it will kill them.

lmao? how long have you been boxing? you're a fucking idiot.

and unless you have a one punch knock out, know knock down (disarm) techniques or joint locks, one person with a hammer will be a hard thang 2 manage

3 cholos is another thing. you'd have to have solid punches in nano-second range, as well as very natural knock down tech. stupid fuck.

  • Couple of days ago listened this a long time again and now i cant stop listening it..

Ty for all who keep this culture live ! 1985-1995 <3

  • '''CONSCIOUS RAP''' GOD KNOWS WE NEED IT TODAY. THAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF RAP.. CONSCIOUSNESS AND PARTY RAP.

  • omg how come I never heard this before... this shit is so dope! funky

  • oh are you talking about today?FUCK today, today there are shitty heavyweight boxers, all the fighting kids in the hood fuckin turn 2 guns, bitches on the radio are fake little fucks, groupies and bitches are everywhere, green paper runs everythin and people are under propaganda

    i dont give a fuck about 2day

that why im still livin in the 90s with pac and the rest

  • @Spike00513z WOW! aint' that some real shit, i was born in 88 man and i'm fuckin stuck in the Golden Era, FOREVER!

  • @Spike00513z Oddfuture is bringing it back thats all I got to say.

  • @Spike00513z

    true words homie ...

  • @Spike00513z brah barely anybody's keeping it real nymore the killing count is suposed to increse from bak then cause the population has increased too but no its going da other way. paper alwayz ran everything. kids are pussies we startin to see emos n shit everywhere now n believe me im jus a young boy n i still gota keep itreal u understan me.

  • @Spike00513z Right on g i love ur speach, fuck all the wack propagand, u are smart g. i took what u said and posted that shit right on my fb page Bring Back Hip Hop, i do it for love of hip hop that feeling that make the beat drop, i know ur thinking aww look at this guy post his shit to get veiws but naw g i really just post a bunch of dope 90's music videos u and any hip hop(TRUE) lover will like it has made grph vids, b-boy battles mc battles just space out blaze a blunt and rember back n d

  • I used to hate stuff like this. I was all about the grimey rap like Onyx and Kool G Rap. But compared to the shit being pressed onto CD today, this would be a god send to hear again

  • droppin a message outta love to your town, love your brothas and sistas... and i'll be around.... classic. you see the niners super bowl fits!

  • i love the way hes quite softly spoken not all brash like Busta. Hes kinda like a west coast version of Mase or Fabolous

  • 2pac completely overshadowed this guy, such a shame because he makes beautiful music. I love their collab on Only God Can Judge Me, 2 west coasts finst MCs

  • @gabriel4990 yeah but can't blame for that Pac, still I think who wants can discover this real talent even in 2010

  • @ArturasDzeikas sure sure your right, but with all the hype for someone else its hard to make a big name for yourself. Kinda like the Monkees and the Beatles. Problem with music business is you have crap artists with big names (Soulja Boy, Lil Wayne and even Game id say) but then you have the truly great artists who never make a real break in the industry. 4Tay didnt do nearly as well as he couldv done.

  • @gabriel4990 yeah ,true, but on the other hand, music managers and listeners dont want rappers who rap about something else not just hoe's and money. thats the problem. in the radio/club they will choose to put Candy Shop instead of some good shit. I hope u understood my point ;)

  • @ArturasDzeikas damn straight id rather listen to Hey Mama and Hold Ya Head than In Da Club an Lolipop any day

  • @gabriel4990 I feel u,but said that to 17years old teenager :D

  • @gabriel4990 fuk you talkn bout

  • reminds me of the good ol days lol

  • I love this song ♥♥

  • Id rather jamm 2 this than 2 soulja girl anyday! IT ALL BOT DAT OLD SKU!

  • brings back hella good memories in the bay. this songs dope, has that feel good feeling

  • love it....! big up. :) mmmm...

  • I Miss this Old time :(

  • this song is the shiiiet! love it!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, I grew up appeciating shit like this....this song is real as hell...unlike this fake-ass "rap" that comes out these days...

    Matt

  • realest hiphop song ever....

  • This is the kind of music I'm talking about: creative, uplifting, intelligent, socially conscious. What ever happened to tunes like this??

  • A uplifting message and the spinners make a winning combination. This old school west coast classic has that feel-good quality that is sorely missing in today's souless garbage passing as hip hop.

  • Aint that the truth, as spoken by myself :P

    Peace

  • love it!

  • love this song. always a good one to listen too. not like any of the junk we have now a days. tight lyrics

  • I'm 19, and this song came out when I was 4. I discovered this song on a local music channel called Distortion 2 Static 4-5 years ago. And I still love this song.

  • nice sample of the spinners

  • 4Tay is one of my favorite rappers... and this is one of my favorite songs.... Thanx 4Tay for the Classic HIT!!!!!

  • love dis song and da sample (ill be around by the spinners) and im only 14...i love da old school, this new stuff cant compare

  • THATS WUSSUP MAN

  • mate i'm 28 and there is no old skool......ask KRSone hip hop hasn't been around that long

  • ok ill ask KRS one and guess what it wont matter...wanna kno why? Cuz there was a old school and this was part of it.

  • @MrTonez187 I agree that it hasn't been mainstream (on the radio) for that long. I only first heard hip hop in the late 70's which isn't that long ago.

  • sick in HD. brings back memories..

  • sick fuckin tune

  • real old skoo frisco shit

  • bay area classic..lots of memories big ups once again..peace
