curious about just one thing ... is the jetflame made with pyroclusters, or did u use somekind of plugin ??
i tried extremely hard to get a jetflame done with pyroclusters, but as soon as i animated the object thereby moving the emitter the clusters were just completely torn apart making the flame look like millions of sparks n flames...
@dlyrious13 it is simply a couple of spot lights pointing positioned behind the engine and pointing into the nozzel. The lights are set to visible with a colour gradient making up the colour of the flame. The movement is produced by animated wavy turbulance in the noise channel.
YOU MADE IT ALONE? all by yourself? It must have been very hard, and in total it's good ^^
I don't know if you want advices or anything...I`m just someone who aprecietes short animations...but if you want some of my opinions, please send me a message
Okay I don't usually reply to stuff people say on my own thread but let me make some stuff clear. This animation was a solo effort and it was done in 6 weeks, the thing with the door was a render error that I didn't have time to fix, it wasn't a detail that I over looked, and no this was not nominated for an oscar, any comments to that affect will be removed because I'm sick of reading them.
You're right, actually these kind of details which help to tell the story are the difference between begginer solos and big productions.
For example, If someone else than James Duncan was in total charge of the buildings modeling, the sky, or the props, Duncan could have focused more on the animation and so on...
damn i need people like u making games!
