if you call yourself a fan of ATL then stop complaining about the difference in song styles. yes this is one of their best genres and stuff and granted the Nothing Personal album is more pop-rock instead of their usual Indie/Grunge style but GET OVER IT! they have spotted a 'gap in the market' and realised that Grunge is not as big selling as it was before! the style in Nothing Personal is more of what you would see in the charts now! they are trying to make money and more fans so stop winging!

Their old stuff was much better, this new stuff is too poppy. This music right here is rich and brings back good memories. There is a CLEAR distinction in sound from who they used to be. I used to be stuck on their creative sound, but the new stuff is shit.
Music changes, you can call it a sellout but they're 'realising' what their sound here, theyre less influenced by a certain band they look up to and wants to make their own.
Plus, it's not selling out trying to make a single more radio-friendly, this is their career, of course they want to be worldwide known artists, that doesn't make them bad people, that makes them every other band that wants to have sucess in what they do.
This isn't their "Old" stuff when you think about it. It's their "Young" sound. They're growing up and the fans that complain that they don't like their more recent stuff need to grow up, too.
I'm a hardcore ATL fan, but I don't know what the heck you guys are complaining about? Their new stuff is just as amazing as their old stuff. EVERY band changes their sound. Don't complain. No matter what, ATL is ATL, and you either like the new stuff or not. But don't go around complaining. Your hears just don't hear how great it is.

its really cool how the descendents influenced blink 182 and u can hear them in blink, and u can here some of blink in here. especially the guitars, drums, and the vocals sound a LITTLE similar to mark hoppus
