Capital ships take forever to align, forever to accelerate, and are slow and sluggish. Once that thanny was knocked out of dock range by smaller ships, he was pinned, and in trouble. They have a crap ton of EHP and repair amount but dont do much dps. MY archon with all fighters does like 900. equiv to 1 gankbs.

Thanatos pilot i recognize as Reggie Kray from Mentally Unstable Enterprizes. A mercenary corp currently in the Minmatar Militia. Those guys are good PVPers. They have been around for a while now. Came up against them back in 2006 when they wardecced the pirate alliance i was in called 9th Fleet. Good to see those guys still going. Gratz on the kill btw.

When you were bumping the Thanatos from the station, you were webbing it as well...

I've always thought about this; why do a lot people in Eve still web if they want their target to move away from the station?

Webbing would slow the ship down and so it won't move away from the station as fast... :P

And as far as i know, webber only affects the target ship's engine. So if you slam into that ship, the distance will be the same whether it's webbed or not.
