Nowadays so many different breeds mixed are becoming very acceptable. With the mix of Poodles and shitzus and labrador retrievers how could anyone belittle the bulldog and Shitzus. There are several fullblooded breeds out there that are so messed up genetically with trying to downsize them and make them into miniatures.
