The reason why the clothes are so expensive is because they're made ethically as opposed to in a sweatshop. The workers that make these clothes actually get paid a decent wage. This is how much people SHOULD be paying for clothes.

@fatmusiclover They are expensive to pay the CEO and his friends a good wage and to ensure a good return for the investors. If I order an ethically made cardigan, it still should not cost 200 bucks, even with material and shipping.

@mondezdurden A typical cardigan at AA costs about $42, not $200. And yes, I'm sure the CEO, Dove, is making good money...but that's typical of every and any CEO of a successful company. Sure AA's model may be slightly flawed (thanks, capitalism) but at least they're trying to spread a message of ethical consumption, unlike most retailers :)
