You know what's sad that the majority of the actors on Nick shows today like Miranda Cosgrove, Jeanette McCurdy, Victoria Justice and plenty of other people were not even born yet when this show debuted in 1991. The only actors from Nick shows that were born before the debut was the Big Time Rush guys, and a few others.

Marc Summers might be doing his thing in the food network nowadays, but to me he will always be the hosts of Double Dare and WWYD. Nickelodeon in the 80s and early 90s was unstoppable: Double Dare, WWYD, Wild and Crazy Kids, Salute your Shorts, Hey Dude, Rugrats, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, and my first show I ever remember as as kid, You Can't Do That on Television.

One thing that annoyed about that intro as a kid was when he paints the fake moustache on his face, how uneven and fake it looked haha. But, then I remember I saw him on Oprah (don't ask why I was watching Oprah) talking about how he is Obsessive Compulsive and all I could think about is how his fake moustache was uneven and fake looking and how that had to have driven him nuts. I get a little worked up just thinking about it...

Everything about this show was ahead of it's time. The format (which is similar to today's reality shows), the music (the show premiered during the time of the MC Hammer Craze), and the set (it had it's own unique style and still holds up pretty well today). Great show... remember watching reruns of this every Saturday and Sunday.

Dear God!! I was so addicted to this show as a kid! Nickelodean made me fat as a kid. I never went outside at all during the summer. I would watch it as soon as I woke up in the morning, till it became Nick-at-night, watch a few shows (mostly just get smart, the partridge family and the Dick VanDyke show) then go to bed. The last cartoon they would play EVERY night was Rocky and Bullwinkle.

I feel the same way. I wish just for a day I could take a vacation or something through time and just go back as a little kid during these days. Like I'd be a little kid again for that day except I'd have my knowledge I have now (so I knew I was time traveling and what not) and just live one of those days again.
