Due to MGM filing chapter 11 - bankruptcy the movie was not 100% finished in filming and editing was never started so now we have to wait to see after the lions gate merger if they will choose to resume or keep it in the back burner for good.

QBZ-95 sucks, short range, lot of smoke, I am sure those shortcomings were addressed in Type 03 though I haven't seen Type 03 in action.
Funny thing is some "reporters" claim they shot a live footage of PLA shooting Tibet at snow mountain on year 2008, guess what, those "PLA" soldiers were holding AK-47 and wearing wooland camoflage on all white snow mountain.

Funny how 2nd line units and military police use the newer QBZ-03s. I heard they were better than the QBZ-95.

If the M16 can shoot a target at 400m, the QBZ-95 could do the same too... I shot QBZ95 last year in China and it was not a bad rifle at all. The recoil is equivalent to M16 in my opinion. The only shortcoming is the fire selector switch which is behind the mag.

They better make PLA Army a modern army not some dumbass army from 60's, 70's, 80's, & 90's. The PLA Army wear Digital Type 07 Universal Camouflage (Urban), 07 Arid Camouflage (Desert), 07 Woodland Camouflage (Woodland), & Ocean Camouflage (Water currently used by PLA Marine Corps / Navy). Also they better used QBZ-95 not AK-47. Also PLA tank are Type 99 & 96 not T-55, T-62, & T-72. Also since PLA invade US the airborne troops wear Sky blue, green, greyish green and light greyish blue camo.
