Don't understand your point. If we cannot accurately forecast the CLIMATE at 70 days (and we have zero skill doing that) there is no way we can accurately forecast it at 70 months or 70 years.
More to your point, if you look at NOAA's annual U.S. Climate Program report you will see it forecasts how many days of ≥90° weather Chicago will have in the year 2070. It is on page 119. That is a WEATHER forecast 59 years into the future.
