@WingsofRedemption I find that the easiest way to take down a chopper is with the main gun of a tank. I find an embankment I can drive up or back up onto and that gives me the angle to hit the chopper. Also if you equip Vehicle Optics on it, you can range and take out the chopper in less time than tracing it and shooting it with a rocket launcher.

The Apache is the only chopper I have trouble with. It's too damn fast and the restricted airspace is a fucking pain in the ass. I lose more Apaches from flying out of bounds than from any enemy player. Choppers need more space to fly if you ask me. The Hind is fucking awesome though.

Something i notice no one mentions; if your in the hind or the black hawk you can repair it while flying. You should have a engineer sit in the space where your just sitting and not on a gun in in the cockpit.

25 hours of work in helos and even i learnt something today. However i would disagree with circle strafing, When you are strafing you are moving predictably and slowly, if you arent playing against complete noobs you are going to get traced and then shot down by either the aa or some random with a gustav, i like to make fast east and west passes over their base then whip the chopper around full 180 and blast em while strafing to the southern start point then make a quick run south north then
