All I remember of this is that it was raining (a lot), the bad singing and the amazing atmosphere.. Which was weird since we all had to leave the next day ! But I'm looking forward to seeing you all in a 100 short days !

Scouting runds in our family. My dad attended the 10th World Jamboree in Mt. Makiling National Park while myself attended the 17 World Jamboree in Mt. Sorak. Scouting taught a lot about life, good values, and humility. Just continue be a scout and you will never be lost . . . carry on scouts!!!!

the jamboree was the most amazing experience of my whole life!

Watching this nearly a year later has still made all the hairs on my arms rise... nothing will ever give me the same feelings as I had that night and week.

I look forward to being EIST at sweden 2011 though.

I was in Lagoon Subcamp and if you were in the Chilean, Spanish, Netherlands, Japanese, Indian or US groups towards the Lagoon corner closest to the Hub Stage; you should (I hope) remember my group, or me and my friends. We were the Norfolk Iceni Contingent, with our windmill that kept breaking! If you remember my group, or Josée, Iain or Will - send me a PM, I'd LOVE to talk to you again!

I joined the Scouts in 1952. I attended the 1957 Jamboree and really enjoyed it. I got my Queens Scout Badge in 1958. I was a Scout leadre from 1977 til 2000. I am now 67 uyears old BUT scouting taught me a lot. CARRY ON.

The Jamboree was really great!

It really was a life-changing-experience.

hey, how did you get in this cast?! what kind of people were chosen for it?! were u are regular participant?! :)

oh, we had to do 2 auditions last autumn.

i dont know where the advert for the auditions was, maybe on the jamboree website

anyone from UK could audition - you had to get to rehearsals once a month.

we were not regular participants, we went as the cast, did the day show every day, and the opening closing and sunrise ceremonies.

we could go out when we weren't rehearsing, & make new friends and everything. We didnt get to go to starburst, splash or gilwell
