I have one of these Steadycam's and one issue is the attention you get while using it.
People stop, keep looking at you while you use it. While you may get away with discretely recording on a crowded place by holding the phone yourself, with a steadycam everyone will be like "WTF IS HE DOING?"
Loved the snotty girl at the end who thought she was all that so much that she thinks someone is actually interested in capturing her average self in a few frames of public video... LMAOF.
I have one question...I just got an iPhone 4s and i was wondering if the steadicam would work with it, and do the clips scratch the iphone? are they extremely tight?
@daylife17777 I'm sure the 4S works with this just fine with it it is 99% identical in form to 4... I think maybe the mute button moved a millimeter down or something but that's about it. And the clips are very tight, yes, but my phone hasn't been scratched or harmed in any way by them.
had to watch the my only problem with SteadiCam, and then watched this. This is an amazing video. Did you do any "post" image stabling? Really good job though. I have an idea now to use this with a fisheye from photojojo combined, and I think it's gonna be awesome!
Excellent. Give a great feel of what can be done with very simple equipment. When the first iPhone created major motion picture finally comes out, it will be another "Nirvana" moment.
Great Job dude! If you are in need of music for your work, please e-mail me at sohmusic@gmail.com — I'll give you links for listening. Keep up the amazing work!

Not sure but check Tiffen's web site they make rigs for more than just iPhone so they may make an iPod Touch version, too.

Great clip! I miss NYC... Do you know if this rig will work with the iPod Touch (as for fitting)?

@popitn2nd Indeed it was. The blacks were crushed, it was desaturated a bit and tinted.

Amazing... That's all on an iPhone 4? That's incredible. Good job, and funny video of you talking with the SteadiCam.
