i think i agree with you Jim. last night I wanted to find some info on the dakar motorcyclist guy who died mysteriously.
nothing on google so did a quick search on twitter (dakar died) and instantly a tweet linking to an article that guy died of a respiratory and cardiac arrest according to an autopsy.
so you could be right that google acquires twitter, given twitter is live search compared to index search.
