That looks like a 1944 or '45 (WW2) GMC open cab duece and a half. My grandfather made a semi tractor out of a 1942 closed cab duece and a half and pulled a 30 foot flatbed with it. My aunt told me that he and my dad used to drive it from Gilroy CA to Los Angeles and then pick up return loads from Arizona. What a work out, pulling a semi trailer out of state with a 265 cubic inch gas motor and no air ride.
My grandpa loged in Oregon before and after World War Two and after the war he bought some of these trucks surplus and made them into log trucks.
Thanks for posting this video I have only seen pictures of these trucks converted into log trucks never seen a video.
