  • @rizeljamn35 I'm German and yeah, theyre speaking German. Morries father must be an immigrant FROM Russia, in Germany. Still don't know why the telegram was in English though...

  • The language is Yiddish. Morrie is clearly a son of an immigrant Russian Jewish family.

  • yeah:) but i know morrie also has a brother..the one in the book where morrie said that their father made them believe that their stepmom was their real mom.and that morrie and his brother would go "skiing" in the streets together..is that morrie?? or mitch?? i forgot :(

  • no way! you can hear cleary : "Schwartz ist gestorben", which sounds like german but the rest doesn't. So track123455 is probably right, jewish (Morrie was jewish)
