is the white pencil (used in the beginning) the same as eye primer? Can I use just the pencil instead of having to invest in primer? or how does that work?..I love the look and love your videos..you make it seem so easy. @Jolleen27 No problem! It's actually supposed to be used as an eyeliner for the water line or lash line, but it works great as a base for the shadows to stick onto something. In my opinion, you don't need a primer when using eyeshadow pencils, specially NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils.

@Jolleen27 i disagree, because a primer is going to keep your makeup from creasing or wearing off. but if you dont want to "invest" in one, ELF sells a really god one for only $1 :) you can get it online or at target

I think you can do a lot with bright eyes, no matter whether they are blue, gray...

I've got dark brown eyes and I always want to have smokey eyes (like e.g. amy lee), but I always look like an emo child :(

maybe because I've also got dark hair.

so be lucky with what you have - nobody's perfect ;)

@KittySugarLips Oooh, I have gray eyes too! I don't know, but I find that purple/plum colors work really well with me, and gold too because it sort of has a contrast with the silvery tones. Hope that helps :)

Your eyeshadows are so pretty. Really you sould go to work in Vegas & do the the girls makeup for the Vegas show girls. I bet you could make some good money. Hey and Vegas is a fun town to live in.
