  • Have you tried a product called the wonder cloth? I got mine at bed bath and beyond a few years ago and it seems to be similar to this except it's wash cloth sized and maybe a little bit different texture. Its my favorite exfoliating product ever, but now I want to try this too!

  • you can get at ulta too

  • asians have this in their grocery stores for washing their bodies... it's what I've used my entire life

  • i actually already own this! but i use it on my body, never thought to use it on my face. i got it at the body shop.

  • Ive been looking for a gentle exfoliater.

  • I ran out and bought two yesterday. I love it on my face, thank you!

  • Oh lordy I remember having those cloths growing up....very asian. Although I don't remember ever using it on the face. Yup you definitely moved mama....hope you're loving where you are! xx

  • are you okay?

  • I love your videos. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. Are you okay? You sound so sad...I hope all is well.

  • Cant even hear you, speak louder . Just letting ya know

  • Awwww, you're back!! I hope you and Brad are doing well. I also saw Marinda's video and do agree with you both. I've been using the same type of product for years...pick it up from the Asian markets and love it! Prefer to use it for bath and recently a separate cloth for facial. Glad to see you back, Gina. xoxo

  • I just bought 2 yesterday! I caught Mainda's video, SO happy!!

  • Yeah its the best, i've been using it since I was young, I love it

  • i got one like that made in japan....sylux...good brand!!!

  • Great video!Glad your back!

  • I so have to try that hydrotowel!!

  • Hey Gina! I LOVE love love this exfoliator, I bought it the day after Marinda's visit and it is fabulous!! I will however still use my clarisonic on my face! for body, this towel rules!!

    xo Michele

  • I will have to try this Gina!!! More videos please. You have been missed!!!

  • Gina, I recently started using retin-a (Obaji skincare) and have horrible flakes. Gross! I use the little disks about twice a week to help sluff them off. I'm going to look for this towel because sometimes I get a little too aggressive with the disk. EEK!

So happy to see another vid! Hugs!

    ~Julie

  • PS How many times can you use this and how do you wash it? :)

  • Yay! So glad you are back!!

  • Good to see you again!

  • Korean's use these towels for their bodies. I've grown up using this my entire life and have never thought once to use it on my face! lol Gotta give it a go!

  • I've used these "towels" for years, and love them! But only for my body, its a bit too harsh for my face, even after I've "broken it in". I own the Sirius Skin Sonic (the alternative to the Clarasonic) for my face and I love it, nothing better.

  • @k2r08 hi! I have the Sirius Skin Sonic as well and lately been struggling with the bottom part sliding down, are you having issues with that? I've been using it for about 10 mos, maybe a year and am ready to chuck it!! I can't see a way of fixing it:((

  • @couturemomnyc No, however, the bottom part does have a small crack in it and it's still under its 1 year warranty so I think I'm going to send it back.

  • Love, love, love my clarasonic has made such a difference in my skin, I use the deep pore cleansing head. I do however use scrub mitts on my body and live them, will give the towel a try

  • I have this and I LOOOOVE it too. I found the japanese one on makeupalley; it's one of the highest rated products on the site! but I got the earth therapeutics one that you have :) I agree, it is the best exfoliater out there, hands down. I too used to have a clarisonic, but actually ended up returning mine.

  • YAY! You're still here! I enjoy watching your vids so much. Hope you, hubby and Kitties are all doing well. Plus I'm hoping you'll get more time to come be with us.

Cool to know of a product that will help w/ ingrown hairs. Thank you for the heads up.

    We love you!! xoxo Susan

  • my beautiful Gina!!- your face makes my day- i LIKE-my clarisonic not love--but i only use it once month! i found a fantastic glycolic mask-Glycolic Grommage (mask that turns ice cold) really getting rid of 90 %DEAD CELLS and SPOTS-) by serious skin care- good vid- love Shelly-(ps i am looking onto macadamia nut old for the skin now) will let you know what comes of it) love Shelly again you never have to much love~!!!lol

  • I have also bought couple of these from a "1 € shop". I use it in the shower with moisturizer (exfoliate with this cloth and the moisturizer) and the skin is silky smooth.

  • So glad you made this video! I also (used to) have dry, flaky skin, and I used the Clarisonic for almost 2 months before finally giving up. The sensitive and the delicate brush heads were both too scratchy for my sensitive skin and made my face irritated and blotchy and unhappy. Then I switched to using a homemade sugar scrub once a week and a micro-fiber mitt to cleanse daily with a cream cleanser, and boy, did that make the difference! Glad u found something that works for you too! :)

  • Had read so many negatives about the Clarisonic that I never purchased one but this looks lovely! Just always so thrilled to see you and miss you doing videos more often :( Also miss hearing from you so you know what that means?! Call me sometime :) big hugs to you and Issac and Minnie XOXO Jan

  • I use exfoliating gloves but I'll have to try this! Thanks for the review:)

  • I can see you and that is good, but I no hear you and that is bad. :(

  • Can you put this in the washing machine to wash it?

  • How do you store in between uses?

  • I use a microfiber cloth in the same way to exfoliate. Thanks for the video Gina!

  • Can't hear you.

  • I have never heard of something like this, I am absolutely going to check it out! Thanks for the video Gina, so great to see your smiling face! :) Kristin

  • Hi sweeeetie... great to see you... Oh I will have to give this a try. :) HUGS

  • you can buy it at Walmart. That is where I bought mine.

  • So wonderful to see you again! Hope you're o.k. :) Hugs from Munich

  • I would purchase one for body and one for face, cutting up the one for face into several smaller pieces. Another good alternative that has worked well for me is a microfiber mitt. I purchased it a long time ago on ebay and its still holding up and working great. I use it very gently on cleansed face twice daily.

  • Try a muslin cloth, that's my favourite for the face and an easier size than the towel. I couldn't live without out exfoliating mitts for my body, I had all kinds of loevly (read pesky!) issues they got rid of. So good to see you Gina! Wish you'd upload more as I miss ya ; ) xoxo Daisy

  • The Body Shop has the same type of towel. I will send you the link in private message. Glad your back. XX

  • chronic exfoliation without proper barrier protection (lipid rich moisturizer) will result in flaky skin. what are you using after you exfoliate your skin?

  • that actually is a very good concept to use with any cleanser you choose and multi funtional for body as well!

  • Love your hair!

  • been looking out for your videos ,hope you and hubby are welll and Isaac!!!!! I miss him....in fact just y'day watched his old videos to make my day :)

  • Yeahhh your back!! Seem like forever since we've seen you gorgeous face and great reviews!! Hope you and hubby are doing well!!

    Missed ya

    Suzanne

  • Thank u soo much for the review! I cant use the Clarisonic at all. Ive tried it every which way possible too. This looks amazing & also a great tip for the backs of the legs too!

  • Luv your reviews!

  • i like using a cloth as well, except mine is even gentler not a mesh like that :p great to see you back! great tip. i'm not a fan of clarisonic either, to be honest.

  • Great review. I love these!

  • I have a plan.... wanna try it out on you tomorrow when you do concealer. If it is not too shiny, I think we might accidentally have gotten another miracle product:)

  • happy to see a video from you

  • So glad to see you again. I like it when you like new things - gives me a reason to go shopping… I don’t really need a reason. I trust your judgement 100% thanks for sharing.

  • We have been using these towels for years and I get mine at an Asian market. My husband and I have always used these to exfoliate our body but I have never thought to use it on my face. Now my husband, on the other hand, uses it on his face as well as his body...so I thought this was a very interesting video from you. The Clarisonic, for me, is too abrasive for daily use :( I also have the Olay ProX (because of your comparison vid) and it seems to be a little gentler on my skin.

  • This is a staple for most Asians, that's why we have beautiful skin :)

  • please make more vids! and tutorials!!

  • Will definitely try this out because I haven't been too impressed with Clarisonic! Great to see you in my inbox again :)

  • I saw those at my dollar store "Dollar Tree" and only aaaaa DOLLARS...LOL

  • OMG those are my favorite to use :) I have like a million of them hahaha I get them for 1.99 at the chinese super market! hollaaa!

  • Thanks for posting! I will definitely check this out!

  • I bought one of these at the body shop years ago and used it for my body. I would rub the back of my legs. I have to try one of these for my face, I saw it at the store then put it back, darn!

  • Hi, Gina! Glad to see your video again! I must say that I've used exfoliating towels almost my whole life since I was a little girl in Korea. As you know, products work differently on people. In my experience, I exfoliate my whole body including my face everyday. I use Clarisonic on my face and a towel like yours. The exfoliating towel is too rough for my face. Perhaps the ones you use are softer. Have you ever gone to a Korean sauna? There's one in DAllas. You can get your body exfolicated.

  • Made my day.....my sister works at bbby I will have to have her buy it and try it out.....thanks

  • I saw this at a health food store and wanted to get one but I got the exfoliating gloves instead. I might try the hydro towel next.

  • Bodyshop used to sell those.

  • I have something similar to this and I love it! I've thought about getting a Clarisonic Mia, but I'm afraid I won't like it. I have the Olay brush and it didn't make much of a difference in my skin.

  • Really...? This takes me back to my teenage days when I used a wet washcloth to exfoliate. If you aren't getting comparable or better results w/ the Clarisonic, you're not using it correctly. Sorry. Just saying'.

  • From what I know this product has been around at least 30 yrs in Asia!

Have you tried this in hand gloves form? It's easier to massage and it's great!

  • I have a question, if I am going to use it only for my face can I just cut it into decent pieces so I don't have to use that big towel all at once? Thanks

  • @mardel3 That's what I did, cut it in quarters and use 1 for the bod & 1 for the face & have 2 spares for when they get gnarly :)

  • Sounds like a really nice product! Will have to look for this at BBB. Always great to see you, Gina! Hugs... Vickie

  • I've used those for about 3 years now. Love them! Use it as my body puff. I replace mine roughly every 3 months or so

  • I've been using one for about 10 years and I really love it. I use it wet or dry...either way works great. Nice to see you again Gina....

  • @Cynjoy19 ah, I've never tried it dry! ooh!

  • I can't believe that you are going against the claireisonic. The claireisonic is the best skin care tool on the market today. You shall say nothing more bad about it.

  • @SillyMando2008 lmao! done and done ;)

  • @ginabinawina99 The Clarisonic did not work for me. I have better results with the Pangea Ornics Exfoliating cream. I can't recall the exact name though!

  • @SillyMando2008

    joking...?i dont like claireisonic...;)

  • @SillyMando2008 lmaoo you can't even spell

  • Wow, thanks. I've have been using those for ages on my body and love it...but, dahh, didn't know it could be used on the face. Thanks heaps for the great news! Love your videos Gina.

    X Isi

  • So glad to see you again!

  • @missuncontrolled aww thank you!

  • I just gotta say.. It makes me really happy to see videos from you. You'll always be one of my favorites. <3

  • @BalmaholicTV omg i adore you gurl!!

  • I use this product for the shower too. It's big enough to clean your back. It's so much better than using those useless mesh poufs that don't scrub anything away really in opinion.

  • how much did it cost??

  • Great to see you!

  • Cool! I have been using one since I was a teenager, so about 30 yrs..not the same one, but the same kind. It builds a healthy lather as well, and feels great on an itchy back! Because it's made of nylon, it dries quickly, so that makes it convenient. Great review Gina! Great to see you back again!

  • Would it be advisable to cut it down if you are using for the face or would it unravel?

  • I have the volume turned all the way up on my computer and I can barely hear you :(

  • So glad you mentioned flakies after using the Clairsonic. I've wanted one, but no more!

Cant wait to try this cloth! ( ◠‿◠ )

    How is Issac?

  • What is your cleanser of choice to use with this product? I wonder how often it needs to be replaced?

  • @sassysmart75 Yeah,I wish she would've talked about all that =( I'm kinda confused lol

  • @Jennifer7848 it's synthetic so its easily cleaned and reused for a number of times! I wouldn't say its use is indefinite, but i'd easily see it lasting months. I also mentioned the soaps i use on my face in the description bar. hope that helps! xoxo

  • @ginabinawina99 Thank you Gina for the quick response.

  • Yes another one of your videos! I enjoy them so much, please make them more often. :)

  • hey gina what kind of face wash do u use it with? and do u soak it in hot, warm, or cold water?

  • Been using the asian version, salux I think it's called. Adore it as an everyday body exfoliator! Agree with everything you've said, except for the body! lol :) Great to see you again <3
