This is not just the electrical guitar of Wasted Years played on an acoustic guitar; it is an arrangement of the multiple melodies in the song(the guitars, vocals etc), that's why it isn't the same as the electrical guitar tabs you were probably studying.

When I looked up "Iron Maiden Acoustic Covers" on YouTube, I wasn't expecting anything to sound good, because I didn't imagine that Iron Maiden, in acoustic form, would translate well.
