The school is an Agricultural High School that you just may be hearing about soon becuase we just might be becoming the only school to have a Platinum rating. We're on of the handful of Golds but with a future project we may reach the Platnium. Woot go us.
In my school, and specifically my program, we've looked at global warming from the side wiht no opionion on whether it was natural or artificial and this is what I've come up with. Throughout time there has been a flux in the avergae temperature of the Earth with several ice ages and mini ice ages(times when the temp was about 5 degrees cooler) but the next rise in temp is not likly to happen for a long time but it is coming fast. So it is a combination of use humans speeding a natural process.
Although personally I believe global warning is a natural phenomenon, I do agree that we as humans need to come together to prepare what will eventually come, whether 100, 15, or even 2 years from now. We need to forget our petty differences and think about what really, truly matters. Now I just need to figure out how to get the rest of the world to agree.
Because when 9-11 happened, we as Americans forgot our differneces (Race or Status) and all of a sudden, there were no differences, we were just all Americans; as one whole. So, if "aliens" come to take over, there would be no Muslims or Christians, heathens or Arabs, we would all be just humans; fighting for our world. Get me? ;)

Very cool to mention we don't know for certain the real cause of global warming. Why is everyone so scared of a global warming anyway? Its better than global cooling(ice age) Pherhaps people fear change or the unknown. Global warming is a big economic fraud. The sun is getting warmer, it's not manmade, the ice on Mars is melting too and the other planets are also warming up. The sun has always gone trough a cycle of hotter/colder. Now I'm very passionate about nature, but why don't we use our money/worthless paper on stopping the deforestation of the rainforest, help stop animal exctintions and the pollution of the sea? We are paying for the minor problems, and ignoring the big ones.

Global warming is real. That's undeniable. The question is WHY the earth is warming.
Information regarding that question is sketchy, but it seems to be part of a natural cycle; one which is being impacted by humanity.
How big is humanity's impact on it? That's another argument, but the answer is looking to be somewhere along the lines of "very little," Which isn't to say that we shouldn't do our best to minimize our impact on the enviornment when we can afford to.
