@satchfan2010 ChordPulse does not generate any sound, it is a midi controller: ChordPulse sends midi events to any General Midi compatible software or hardware synthesizer. By default this is the "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth", a software synthesizer available on nearly all Windows computers. You can get any sound quality (including the very best) depending on the midi synthesizer you connect to ChordPulse.
I just downloaded it and I love it. I remade 2 songs that I was singing in my head in about 10 minutes. (Well I had written the chords already in the notepad the day before) the software Is fast, easy, clean and fun to work with! Never seen anything as easy. Hope it allows tempo input and drum fills in a future version!
@mukeshhimesh yahh theres a 14 day trial for free but after tht u can either not bother or buy it for £14.99 but you carnt delete it from ur computer and download it again so u choose :)
Im an old guitar player Lazslo, i see lot of programs to make music and your design its the most simple and friendly to any user. In other progs, lot of buttons make user confuse and not so simple to start, and the user looking for that, start to play with a backing music decently with good sounds.If you can put the chance to change instruments on styles, an style-maker, and assign chords to PC keyboard, maybe can be one of the best music composer software without doubts. I wait for upgrade!!
Hi Laszlo, yesterday i purchase your superb program.There is a keygen here in youtube, maybe is time to make an update and change something. Go ahead , and would be great make a style maker or chance to import styles from yamaha psr, and option to change instruments on the styles.

@vinlock123 : Hi, Thank you for the nice words. Sorry, but it is not likely that VST compatibility will be supported. A style editor/combiner is in our plans. Regarding more realistic sounds: sound quality is only limited by the actual General Midi device used in combination with ChordPulse. I plan to release version 2.1 in April. This free update will add some new music styles, both 4/4 and 3/4 time signatures. I hope you will find what you are looking for.
Hello. I just wanted to say Thanks. I downloaded the free version and i am really loving it. Olny thing missing for my needs is a 3/4 time sig with a snare. I guess i will have to upgrade to the full version soon..

i just today started my own song after about a half an hour i only got to the middle of the song before the melody got bland and it just sounded weird so i took a break going to finish it and show it off to my friend :)

@Bflatest: Thank you for asking! I'm still working on ChordPulse 2.0, now it is in the final testing phase. I hope to release it next week. Then, after a short rest, I will start working on the Mac version. It's really hard to see how long it will take...
