@LuvBabyBooo its made of a very very light chiffon material in many, many layers and the layers are cut shortest on the outside and longer underneath that is how you get this look. i recommend buying a whole roll of chiffon and making your own.

I purchased this type of fabric from EBAY from seller "jacquedesigns". It is called silk gauze fabric. You'll have to sew your own skirt but at least you'll have the fabric. It really does flow like smoke around you.

The Skirt bounces & flames yes - but the wave movements through the shoulders are outstanding! The whole upper body nexus, extensions, & rhythms, show that this new style has a lot to say! Fantastic.

This looks like club fusion belly dance, which is a relatively new style,and mostly coming from overseas. She is actually really good. Her hand movements are a bit jerky, but that could be nerves. Im impressed shes able to move like that in those heels..eek!

this performance might be a part of a bigger performance, we, the viewers, don't know. however, i've taken belly dance since 1992 and this is NOT bellydance. bellydance is slow and sensual in it's form and the arms do NOT flail around like this. saying this is bellydance just because she has on a bellydance costume is like saying someone who dances in a tutu on stage is a ballerina.

owtang: I am curious. If you are so critical of this video, why do you have it among your Favorites? And not ALL bellydance is slow and sensual. This is a short excerpt from a national bellydance competition in Russia. I don't care if is bellydance or not, I find it very interesting.

Thanks but i think turkey is too far away from the bahamas to get that shipped here. By the time it gets here and the duty is added it would cost me 50 bucks! It looks lighter than chiffon though. Is it because she has it in stripps and layers or something? It's really flowing. Are you turkish and live in turkey?

It comes into the country as "un soliceted Gift" & is light as a feather. The panels are in fact Petals, Their is also another suppler in China. ( I sell Costumes but only at exabitions & to my own classes.) Though I used to have lots of international clients & only have a handfull now. That is why I know so much about the Duty in verious parts of the word.

Please look at the title SULTRY!!! Whate you have to take into consideration is that this is a compation and she has to do what the judges want 4 that set or they can not judge her. Yes I agree it is not classic Belly dance but the title told me that . I have been Belly Dancing since 1969 & teaching since 1989. Try looking at Maya Abi Saad Traditional Lebanies. Tito 4 Egyptian But as Sultry she is good & the name of the person who posted it Plus the title should have told you what to expect.

I was Taught belly dancing By Madam Tahia THE most famose Egyptian dancer while working with a dance group in Ciaro I was 21 at the time. though just what yours & my experance has to do with it is any one,s Guess It is a discucian group that is why people reply Once again my comment was ment to be helpful.

What we need to understand is that the origin of a dance counts. But as the world changes so does its elements. It is belly dancing with a different style. It's unique.

I wish she would slow down a little! She's amazing, and she looks like she's having fun... But her arms and her hands are all over the place.

She looks more like a somoan-type dancer...especially with her hip movements.
