Out of all the B-grade Top Gun style movies Iron Eagle 1 and 2 are prolly the best I have seen. Iron Eagle 1 had good music and Iron Eagle 2 you had Americans and Russians working together as a team :)
We had a tons of B-grade Top Gun Styled flicks in 80/90 using israeli royalty free footage.this one is most funny, almost a a parody of genre. I laught much when i watched as a kid
@Ebb1993isimmortal I did see some new footage in this one, but I gotta say I don't have a problem with using the Iron Eagle footage, because the Kfir is a badass plane and makes a good baddie aircraft.

Yep, just one more movie using the old "Iron Eagle" stock footage. Let's see..."Flight of Black Angel", and this, and IE I & II, and at least one more. I wish I could give you a good word on this movie, but it was without a doubt one of the worst low-budget pieces of trash ever made. I heard the director nearly committed suicide after the critics panned this direct-to-VHS movie in '92. But still, it is hilarious to watch it take itself waaay too seriously. Enjoy it if you can.
