man it is hard to watch bastien in the big contests these days because he rips so hard and tech and often deserves to medal but doesn't cuz he's not as marketable as, i dunno, prod making 1 out of 8 tries at a switch flip, which every little kid overreacts to ("OMG can you even tell that was SWITCH?!?" insert butter joke!)
So true. Buddys bustin cab double flips, double flip front boards, bigger flips, 1st or 2nd try. And they give it to the person who does the most over done trick in 10 tries. Look at the Dew Tour, P-rod was landing switch flip smiths and only got 3rd in one stop, yet some kid does a smith pop into the downslope ramp, and gets 1st or 2nd I ccant remember.
