Ray Charles has a lot of amazing songs (in fact, I have yet to here a Ray Charles song that's even pleasantly mediocre, let alone bad), but if I had to choose a favorite, it'd be this one. 6 and 1/2 minutes of genius.

My mother fed me this in the early 60's; she was hip. Later in life I decided that the perfect jazz combo was keyboard, drums, bass. Now I guess I hear again where it hit my subconscious in upbeat soul earlier. The rhythms, the keys quality, vocals (ladies!), warm bass work.... could it be better? And it's fun; I gotta' move!
