I think whoever made this video is missing Sarah's point. Words can only be as bad as the intention behind their use. If I tell some one to 'fuck off', that could mean something as banal as 'get out of here'. It's all about the context in which it's said. The joke she told on Conan was not ignorant or racist, it was about ignorance and racism. Conversely, when someone doesn't use overtly racist words but clearly intends to demean or divide along racial lines, it's still racist of them to do so.

I think whoever made this video is missing Sarah's point. Words can only be as bad as the intention behind their use. If I tell some one to 'fuck off', that could mean something as banal as 'get out of here'. It's all about the context in which it's said. The joke she told on Conan was not ignorant or racist, it was about ignorance and racism. Conversely, when someone doesn't use overtly racist words but clearly intends to demean or divide along racial lines, it's still racist of them to do so.

First of all, it would not be a 'jury of my peers' as I'm not famous. Secondly, imagine all the media hubbub over my trial, not due to the case itself, but because a famous person is on the jury. Sarah uses racist terms in her performances, but if you paid attention and had a brain you would recognize that she is not expressing racist views. Listen to her talk about Martin Luther King in her act.... she is a brilliant communicator, Not at all racist. You just lack the depth to make those distinctions.
