I have a swapped engine miata too but the car will running perfect only with the original 1,8 throttle body and a megasquirt ecu unit at my opinion! Plus the car was to bad with fuel consumption and running to rich as result very black smoke on high rpm! But now its running almost prerfect... My regards from Greece!

The person I am doing the work for could not afford the megasquirt unfortunately. He is having me install a AEM FIC. Not the best use of my time.
