Well I don't wanna annoy some1, but my friend has LTD too and it's natural sound... LTDs have little bit muffled sound... I don't have any because I have ESP, Ibanez and B.C.Rich... but i know about that problem of LTD... it's a reason why i didn't buy any of them.

@TheVisceralRemains Take the basic big four . Slayer , Metallica , Megadeth and Anthrax . There first albums are good to get into thrash . Other thrash bands i think you should check out also is exodus , testament , kreator and sodom . Panteras first album have some nice riffs to it aswell.

you can still hear if a guitar is out of tune regardless how much distortion is used,maybe he might be catching his picking hand on the bridge causes the strings to bend and make the guitar sound out but either way its not a good sound considering the spec guitar he has,do you think he is in tune?

i use a line 6 pod 2.0 with a 100 watt fender amp. Yes my kahler trem makes my guitar out of tune so i never use it, i dont really like trems anyway
