  • A jeep gang... Rofl. I'm ashamed to be white.

  • were are CRDs

  • @superhawkn There were none with us that day. We don't have very many out here in our group for some reason. Surprising since a turbo does well in the thinner air of the mountains.

  • Gun it next time. Don't be scared. The last time I took it slow through a mud hole I got stuck. You'll learn. I got a '98 XJ, and that thin is a beast. Wish they still made them. Stupid Chrysler.

  • WHOEVER IS DRINVING FUCKIN SUCKS AT MUDDIN!!!!

  • thats gonna be a bitch to cleanon the passenger side :O lol

  • @ Killapawner RE:"are those tires the stock street tires. or are they aftermarket tires for offroading. and do you think a stock liberty would be able to get through that "

They are Goodyear MTR size 245/75 R 16 Load Range E on most of our vehicles. The largest you can practically fit on a non-solid front axle Liberty are 32" tires. If you convert to a solid front axle as some people are startng to do you can go a lot larger.

  • what part of colorado do u wheel in i am in colorado i love muddy creek and ellis jeep trails lookin for new spots though

  • @2wheelcody That was up in the mountains east of Fairplay near Tarryall If I recall.

  • u dont c many off roading liberty

  • I dont know about yall out there in Colorado but here in the South when we mud the object is to hit the hold wide open and throw as much mud on the truck as possibe, not to pussy-foot through like a street car!

  • You do see all the rocks right? Well here in Colorado 'we all' don't go wide open through a mud hole unless there are no rocks around as there are bound to be boulders in any given mud hole...Ever hear of the Rocky Mountains? They ain't made of red georgia clay...lets just say that. There is very little dirt in the mountains and most mud puddles do have hidden boulders in them...Imagine what would happen if you hit one at WOT?

  • hell yeah we even use 2 weel drives lol

  • What kind of tires do you have on the Liberty?

  • They are Goodyear MT/R 245x75R16

  • Liberty is a jeep but if you want a real vehicle get a wrangler

  • Whatever dude!

  • yep

  • the Wrangler is good for rock crawling but in mud and saind it tends to bog down because they are so light. the liberty and cherokee are hevyer and can sink deeper in the mud to get to the harder dirt

  • Wranglers arent light weight

  • damn you need lockers and heavy bogers

  • the liberty its a good truck have a good and very stronger 4 wheel drive

  • btw is a normal 3.7 liberty limitd aaddition any good for off-roadin

  • People would be surprised what a stock Jeep Liberty with open differentials and w-wheel drive can do. But it is no Wrangler. When I first got mine I took it on some moderate trails bone stock and did very well. Now it has been modified to a little more than the capability of a Rubicon while still costing significantly less than a Rubicon.

  • So you have a solid front axle and front and rear selectable lockers?

  • At the time I had open diffs. The other two guys had one locker and a true track I think. I now have Front and read ARB's. Not really interested in doing a SFA conversion. A few guys I wheel with here in Colorado have or are in the process of doing the SFA build.

  • This is an awesome clip, watching the front end sloshing in the mud. but what is the red I'm seeing on the underside of this rig??? Looks great!!

  • He has his skid plates and rock rails painted that color.
