Thank you! The tunnel exteriors and the tunnel and the cave were all shot at DeSoto Caverns Park in Childersburg, Alabama. The Ending was shot in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Also, I was wrong when I said the screenplay has Indy saying "Adios, Satipo." In the screenplay Satipo says "Adios, amigo" and Indy just says simply..."Adios." Adios!

The references to Ford saying "Satipo" wrong are just that...wrong. Ford doesn't say his name wrong in the film...he says, "Adios, Stupido" instead of "Satipo". And Stupido obviously means "stupid" in Spanish.

I have no explanations for those first two questions. All I know is that I have TWO copies of the film in which the subtitles say "Stupido". I KNOW that in Spanish stupid is "estupido"...but it IS possible to leave off the "e" for words like that and still retain the meaning. Take it from me, I'm Mexican and have been speaking the language since I was a young child. So, no...I don't feel stupid, thanks.

I have two copies of the film that have subtitles saying "Adios , Satipo." Indy clearly says SApito. With an A. The learned professor would know how to pronounce the word correctly don't you think? They didn't re-shoot the flubbed line because Speilberg wanted to shoot it quick and dirty.
