Nothing on that scale could've taken place Germany or Europe without his direct authorisation. He may not have been aware of how bad the camps were or what happened there, but he certainly knew they existed and their purpose. The real crux of it tho is did Hitler PLAN it from the start to destroy the Jews. I don't think so, there is evidence to show not.

Why not turn the tables around; why not have Germanic actors in the role of famous historical Jews? A Moses movie with Moses played by an Aryan actor; Jesus played by a Norwegian Nordic type with blond hair. The story of the holocaust played by German actors with very Aryan features. Why not ? There are very good and plentiful types that could fit the bill.

In Britain I have seen movies like "Shakespeare in love" and" Mary Queen of Scots", both with Jews in the leading role.
