Honestly, I could listen to their music forever. If I had to listen to one band for the rest of my life it would be them. Everyoen can relate to their music, and their music is just so good. I mean They should have been the best band of the 00's, but who knows? Maybe they'll come out with an album in the near future that will really break them into that upper eschalon of rock stardom and glory. They definitely deserve it. One of my favorite bands of all times.

Its an Anomaly to me how The Strokes didn't reach the same level of success as bands like the White Stripes or Coldplay or even the Beatles because their just as good and were just as creative as any of those bands. They were the best band of the THE bands of the early 00's. They were very unique with their style they had killer charisma and killer chemistry. Just goes over my head why they didn't soar to astronomical levels. They should be bigger than any band of this decade if you ask me.

@CavenEdwards I think there are a number of reasons why they weren't as successful as other bands. There was a backlash because they were so hyped. They weren't very engaging in interviews. The first two albums used distortion on Julian's vocals, which didn't always translate well to radio. Their video's weren't as eye catching. And I think they chose the wrong songs for singles. Notice recently how they're not playing 12:51 live, but they're playing Under Control and I Can't Win?
