The large plaza with the Brighthouse office has indeed been rented out before. There was an antique mall to the left(west) of Brighthouse for a while, and before that it was a food lion. That plaza has been refurbished but it's been there for decades.

With the bad winter here up north, maybe the few that have some $ will vacation down there and help the econ out. It amazes me how the major media has stopped reporting on the econo carnage. If this was back in the Bush days we would see this stuff nonstop in our faces about how bad it is. Keep up the vids, the story of America needs told.
@chaineychainaman It is a shame because I love Florida. From what I can tell, we have less "snow birds" then we used to. The traffic is no where near as bad as it used to be in the winter. That proves the amount of people vacationing in this area has dropped.
As far as the news goes, I put almost no faith in our media. The networks are all owned by the elite, who show you want they want you to see. The real news is on websites like YouTube. and Al-Jazeera.

@BillKville Thanks Bill! I did two economic videos in NY, but I couldn't find any empty plaza's up there. My Aunt told me Monticello, NY is really bad, but it's pretty far away from where I was staying.
I can't say that I've noticed any cash for gold places around here. I'm sure we have some but I just never looked for them. I'm sure they are the biggest ripoff as well.

@ArizonaPublic Thanks buddy! The matress store is on Palm Bay Road and Hollywood Blvd. Walmart and Chick-Fil-a are also there in that plaza.
The video is better than most, but still look much better on my PC in AVI format.
